Unconditional Love

Jesus requires us to have an unconditional love toward others. A type of love that that has no limitations or conditions. It’s the kind of love that continues in times of trial. When this love is in our hearts we will continue to love others even though we may feel they don’t deserve it. Just like we sin and fall short, Jesus’s Grace is still given to us, when we ask for forgiveness. I have fallen so many times and know that I don’t deserve His Grace but He continues to love me and forgives me of my sins.

Unconditional love continues when children have gone astray. It continues when your spouse has fallen under an addiction. It continues when we’ve fallen under sin and need forgiveness.

Pray for this love. Pray for His forgiveness if you have wronged another person. Pray for a fresh start with God. Pray that His love will come into your life. Pray for a renewed love for your spouse, children and others. Come to Him with a sincere heart. Seek for this love and do what it takes to have it. Plead for His love to enter your life.

Go to the person you have wronged and tell them sorry. Pray with your spouse and children and tell them how much you love them and are sorry if you wronged any of them.

Let us be renewed in Jesus’s Love. He desires for us to share His love with others. If we truly love Jesus and worship Him we will have a greater desire to love one another. We will continue to love through thick and thin. May this love be manifest in all of our lives.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;
5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.
