I am so thankful for Christian music. Each time I listen to it my heart is at peace. I find strength for anything that comes my way. I am encouraged for the Lord is with me. I need not fear for God is my shield. When I hear music at church I can hear people rejoice in our Lord Jesus as they sing. Their praises fill the air with thanksgiving. They are so passionate for God. I can feel the Holy Spirit fill the atmosphere. The Lord’s presence is near. I sing with them to give praise to my Savior. I can feel the Lord’s calming touch. My heart is comforted as I worship Him.
Each day I rejoice for it is a new day to follow Jesus. My heart sings hallelujah when I think of all He has done for me. My life has new meaning for Jesus has redeemed my soul. I love to sing songs of praise to my King. My life is filled with His amazing love. If I sing it is to praise Him. It’s amazing how my life has changed because of Him. I could have never gotten where I am today without the Lord. I was lost but have been found. My Good Shepherd found me and had compassion upon me. For this, I rejoice. I will sing songs of thanksgiving forevermore. I hope to share His message of hope to everyone. I love You Lord.
31 So I brought the leaders of Judah up on the wall, and appointed two large thanksgiving choirs. One went to the right hand on the wall toward the Refuse Gate.
38 The other thanksgiving choir went the opposite way, and I was behind them with half of the people on the wall, going past the Tower of the Ovens as far as the Broad Wall,
40 So the two thanksgiving choirs stood in the house of God, likewise I and the half of the rulers with me;
41 and the priests, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Minjamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets;
42 also Maaseiah, Shemaiah, Eleazar, Uzzi, Jehohanan, Malchijah, Elam, and Ezer. The singers sang loudly with Jezrahiah the director.
43 Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced, for God had made them rejoice with great joy; the women and the children also rejoiced, so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard afar off.
