The Bible Is A Witness of Jesus

The more I read the Bible the closer I am to Jesus. The Holy Spirit testifies of its truthfulness. Many in the New Testament were able to witness Jesus’s miracles first hand. Not only did He amaze them by His simple touch but they were won over by His compassion. When He visited the Samaritan woman, at the well, His kindness was evident and her life changed instantly. There was something different about the way He talked. The Spirit was among all those that were with Him. Those that knew Him never wanted Him to leave. He was their Savior that had come to rescue them. The Messiah had come to save the world from sin. His disciples new of His majesty as they came to know Him first hand. They stood by him. When Jesus had gone up to heaven they didn’t stay quiet. They spoke of their love of Him to the world. They didn’t seek fame or fortune. They were loved by the Lord and that’s what was most important.

I know that Jesus is our Savior. He is worthy of our praise. During His baptism our Father in heaven declared that He was His beloved Son and was well pleased. At the mount of transfiguration The Father declared the same thing but added, “Hear Him”. These two words are so important. Through prayer and reading the Bible we learn how to follow Him. He speaks to us often and as we seek Him we will hear His voice. Our minds will be in the right place and He will find rest in us. His grace draws us to Him. We can come to know Him personally in our own lives. The Lord loves us all. He knows our name. We are His chosen. We are famous in His eyes. If you have left the Lord come back to Him. He is waiting anxiously for your return. Pray with all the energy of your heart. Repent and give up your idols. Seek His forgiveness and His mercy will fall upon you. We are free indeed through the love of Jesus.

2 Peter 1:16-18
16 For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty.
17 For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
18 And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.
