We are tested in order for God to know if our faith is genuine. If we carry through with what the Lord counsels us then He will see our love for Him. If we falter and give into our fears we will lose sight of God. God has a plan for each us. He leads us because he loves us. Through the Spirit we will be prompted to do His will. We can either listen and partake of His blessings or ignore His promptings and grow further away from God. When we fall under the influence of sin our judgment is impaired. God can’t dwell in our hearts when we voluntarily engage in our lusts. This is why it is vital that we change our lives for God. We will never see the glory of God if we continue in addiction. The good news is that Jesus is the ultimate healer. He is our Savior from on high. He has come to set the captives free. Give your life to Him and you will never be the same again. His love will mold us into a new person. Our guilt and shame will be washed away. The more we walk in the Lord’s ways we will be led to do what is right. We will no more be controlled by the flesh. Our thoughts will be amazed by the saving grace of Jesus. His will, will be most important in our lives. Jesus is the way to salvation. There is nothing worth more than what the Lord offers us. Nothing can come close to His presence. He is our living hope. Believe on Him and you will find rest in the heaven’s above.
All those that obey the counsels of God will be forever blessed. He will open up the heavens and pour down His blessings from on high. We will be blessed physically and spiritually. As we pray to God we should ask for the things we need and give Him thanks. He will bear us up and give us hope if we rely on Him. He will watch over us and keep us safe. We will be protected from harm. We will have health and strength. We will have peace in times of heartache. We will be delivered in times of trial. He will make our paths straight. We will come to know the Lord more deeply. The Lord will dwell in our lives. We will understand why God is so important. His presence will be felt. The Lord will have new meaning in our hearts. Our lives will be forever changed. Our chains will be let loose. Our sins will be forgiven. We will understand our dependence on God. The Bible will come to life the more we read. We will learn to speak to God more personally. Our trust in Him will be elevated. God will make a place for all those that believe in heaven. Oh Lord, my heart burns for You. I love your presence. You are welcome in my life. You give me hope. I will follow You. I will listen when You speak. Your counsels are wise. Thank You for your plan in my life. Fill the atmosphere with the Holy Spirit. Lead all those that believe on You to become more aware of your presence.
Then they came to the place of which God had told him. And Abraham built an altar there and placed the wood in order; and he bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, upon the wood.
And Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to slay his son.
But the Angel of the Lord called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” So he said, “Here I am.”
And He said, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.”
Then the Angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time out of heaven,
and said: “By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son—
blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.
In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”
