Receive Jesus As Lord

All we sinners need the light of Christ for salvation. The outcome of sin is spiritual death. In the moment we commit sin, we have left the Lord. The Spirit cannot dwell in sin. When we are under the effects of our transgression we can easily make more mistakes. Things can get out of hand quickly if we don’t do something to stop it. Our thoughts can quickly turn to lust if we aren’t protected by the Holy Spirit. It is only through prayer and reading the Bible, will we know how to live. If those things are absent in our lives we are more likely fall under temptation. When we hurt others it is our flesh acting out. If the Lord was with us we’d be loving one another. We’d know the very things that affect others for good and bad. If Jesus isn’t in our hearts than lives can be left damaged by what we say and do. The Lord knows what is best for us. We must turn to Him before the time is up. Jesus is coming quickly. Receive Him and be saved.

When Jacob took away the blessing of Esau, Esau was greatly hurt inside. This was all because his brother “came with deceit”. He didn’t care what the outcome would be. He just wanted to have the best blessing His father could give and didn’t think of how it would make his brother feel. Esau was left in tears. To live a life of pleasure will only leave more lives damaged by our pride. Living for our own selfish desires may appear good on the outside, however, it is damaging our soul on the inside. We must give our lives to Jesus or there will be no restitution for our sins. We must live as Jesus did. We must follow Him and no other. He is the only one that has power to brake away the chains of iniquity. He paid our price on the cross. Accept the Lord into your life and you will be blessed. Salvation is only for those that live for Christ. We are saved by the grace of God. Heaven is open to receive all God’s faithful.

Genesis 27:30-36
30 Now it happened, as soon as Isaac had finished blessing Jacob, and Jacob had scarcely gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting.
31 He also had made savory food, and brought it to his father, and said to his father, “Let my father arise and eat of his son’s game, that your soul may bless me.”
32 And his father Isaac said to him, “Who are you?” So he said, “I am your son, your firstborn, Esau.”
33 Then Isaac trembled exceedingly, and said, “Who? Where is the one who hunted game and brought it to me? I ate all of it before you came, and I have blessed him—and indeed he shall be blessed.”
34 When Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with an exceedingly great and bitter cry, and said to his father, “Bless me—me also, O my father!”
35 But he said, “Your brother came with deceit and has taken away your blessing.”
36 And Esau said, “Is he not rightly named Jacob? For he has supplanted me these two times. He took away my birthright, and now look, he has taken away my blessing!” And he said, “Have you not reserved a blessing for me?”
