Many Are Called But Few Are Chosen

There is only one Man that deserves all our praise, worship and honor. God of the heavens and of earth should be exalted above all. In the heavens, the angels declare holy is the Lord. They worship Him in song and with all their might. Their trumpets sound out to His glorious Name. On earth, most people find other things that fulfill them. Different luxuries of life give them happiness. Some may declare themselves religious but have many forms of idols in their lives. Others may read, more often, other books than the Bible. There are some that find the Lord and still fall away in strange paths. Those that sing praises to the Lord are few but blessed beyond measure. They are chosen of God. These people trust in Him for wisdom and knowledge. Even though they fall, they seek Jesus’s help to lift them up. He is in their hearts. They live for Him. They were called out of darkness and listened to the voice of God. They’ve discovered a life more glorious than ever before. The love of Christ brings them much joy.

“Many are called, but few are chosen”. There is an invite to all to accept the Lord Jesus into their hearts. He gives everyone a free gift of eternal life if we follow Him. The Kingdom of Heaven is for all that choose to live for Jesus. Few are chosen because 1“they which were bidden were not worthy.” Their love for the world trumped their love for Christ. Choose this day to follow Jesus. Accept the Lord’s invite to live in the Kingdom of Heaven. There are many paths but only one will lead us to eternal life. Live worthy to be chosen of the Lord. Stay focused on the goodness of God. Read the Bible often and seek wisdom and knowledge through prayer. Stay strong in the Lord and you will have courage. You will not easily be moved by things of this world. All those that follow Jesus will be eternally blessed in the heavens above. Oh Lord, I sing out in the highest praise to your Name. Lead me all the days of my life. Nothing on earth can match your goodness. I will not be shaken. I trust in You.

Matthew 22:1-14 (KJV)
And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,
The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,
And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
For many are called, but few are chosen.
