Sing Out With A Thankful Heart

With all your heart, sing out in praise to the Lord. Lift Him up in anthems of thanksgiving. Don’t worry about the sound of your voice, just focus on the Lord and sing out to Him. Let your mind be one with God. Your praises will be heard. Thank Him for His Kindness. Thank Him for the cross. How merciful is our King. For as sinners He hears our cries and has compassion. We are not worthy of His presence but He still comes to us to lift us up. He tells us that we are important in His sight. That we have a purpose on earth. He delivers hope to our lives. His love shines bright in our lives to show us the way. “For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.” Be grateful for all that He does for us. May our thankfulness grow in our prayers. He wants the best of us and hears our every need. Each blessing He bestows, give Him thanks.

This day I could not stop singing hymns of thanksgiving to the Lord. My heart is so full of gladness for what the Lord has done for me. With every word I sang out, my thoughts were on God. I could feel His presence in my heart. I knew I didn’t always sing the right way but I knew He would understand. My tone may have been off but I know He is grateful. I love You Lord. My heart is so thankful this day for Your mercy and grace. There is salvation only because of You. Though I fall in sin, You lift me up. There is no one like You. Thank You for forgiving me. Thank You for continuing to hold out for me. Your promises never fail. Your love is never ending. All my hope is in You. Never leave me Lord. I may not be holy but I strive to have Your holiness in my life. I bless You among all people. You deserve the highest praise.

2 Chronicles 5:11-14 (KJV)
11 And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place: (for all the priests that were present were sanctified, and did not then wait by course:
12 Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:)
13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;
14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.
