In Remembrance Of Jesus

Let us always be in remembrance of our Lord Jesus. Think of the cross and what it means for you. How His sacrifice for our sins has changed your life. How does it impact you to think that His blood was spilt that your sins could be forgiven? Meditate on His great mercy. We will never understand the compassion of our God but we can give thanks. If what He has done has changed your life give Him praise. Honor Your King in sweet hymns of thanksgiving. Think on His resurrection. We were all lost until He overcame death. Now that He is risen we can all return to Him. What does His gift of eternal life mean to You? Have you fully accepted His gift? His grace is free for all that love Him and our neighbor as ourselves. Walk in His holiness and you will be given a renewed mind. Your heart will be molded to be like His. As you pray often His thoughts will be your thoughts. The Lord is good all the time. Seek Him often and He will be there. Come to Him as a little child and learn by the Spirit. He is our greatest teacher of all. His Words will lead you into His presence.

How grateful I am to be sanctified by the Lord’s grace. Though I was in chains God broke the bonds and set me free. I can feel His sweet forgiveness in my soul. His love has no end. My old life died with the Lord on the cross. I am now raised up into newness of life. I am honored to live my life for Jesus. Salvation is in His hands. I know that one day I will live with Him in heaven. Timothy taught, “If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:” It will be a great blessing to reign with the lord. I know that by faith I can stay strong in His righteousness. Oh Lord, Your love has rescued me from death. Thank You for giving me another chance at life. You never gave up on me though my life must have been a great hindrance to You. You looked past who I once was and saw potential. Thank You for your forgiveness. Thank You for renewing my body and soul. I look to You for deliverance from my troubles. You are a lamp to my feet. Guide me through faith. Lead me to You always. I love You.

2 Timothy 2:8-13 (KJV)
8 Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:
9 Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.
10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
