Evangelize: Downtown Boise In Prayer

Tonight was so awesome to go out and share the love of Jesus with people. The four of us went out with a prayer that the hearts of people would be open this night. We asked that the Holy Spirit would speak through us. God surely delivered the lost into our path. He heard our prayers and used us to bring many people to know Him tonight. It was wonderful to see so many that were receptive to receive gospel tracks and devotional cards. This showed me that people have a desire to learn and know God. I was able to speak with this one lady that was struggling with depression. She said for the longest time she has felt that nobody cares for her and she walks alone in life. I told her how precious she was to God and that in prayer He would fill her heart with peace. We prayed together and I asked God to deliver her from depression into His love. That she would know how much He truly loved her. After the prayer she was smiling. I am so grateful to have met her. As we walked further we saw a group of people talking about something so we went and joined in. I asked them all if they knew about Jesus. Most of them did but one really needed Him in His life. I asked Him if He’d take a Bible and He took it. He said He was praying that He’d get one. Praise God that He was on our path. We all prayed together, holding hands, and gave thanks to God. One lady in that group, I asked if she would join us next week in evangelizing and she said she would. She said she would also bring others with her. How encouraging is this that other people want to share God’s love with the world. As the night was ending, we saw two young men with guitars. We asked them if they needed prayers. They said yes, as they were struggling with different addictions in their life. I explained that Jesus could deliver them from their sins and break the bonds that have them bound. He will change their mind set and the way they live their lives. We asked them to accept Jesus into their hearts that night and they did. They asked Jesus to forgive them of their sins and asked for His mercy. That the Lord would reign in their hearts and cast out all darkness. It was amazing to see them smiling as we were leaving them. To see people like them come to Christ makes everything we do worth it. Just to see one person come to Jesus out of thousands is a miracle from God. Thank You Lord for opening people’s hearts to Your glorious gospel. I am amazed that you could use us this night to share Your love. I love You and praise Your Holy Name.

Romans 12:1,2 (NJV)
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
