We Can Interpret The Bible Through God

Only God has the power to interpret dreams and scripture. As Joseph said, “Do not interpretations belong to God?” Indeed, the interpretation of things are contained with God. However, the Lord was with Joseph so He had the power to interpret dreams. It was God’s will to speak through Joseph. For this reason he told the men, “tell me them, I pray you.” He was eager, for the Lord was with Him. He knew that He could do all things with God’s help. If any of you desire to know the truth of the Bible then have your ears open to the Spirit. God’s Word “is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” It is here for our benefit for God speaks through it. If our hearts are open to God, then He will give us counsel. If you not walking in His light, He will call you out. You will be pricked to the heart, while reading. This is good, for repentance is necessary for salvation. It is when we understand that we are a sinner and need God’s grace is when marvelous things start to happen in our lives. Our change of heart leads to forgiveness. And the best part about following in the Lord’s footsteps is that the Holy Spirit is with us too. He breathes on us the Spirit to help us learn of Him and walk in His ways. We are on the straight and narrow path when God’s Spirit is at the head of our lives.

It is a blessing to have the Bible in our midst today. It is breathed from God and we have the opportunity to learn from our King, as we read. Seeking the Lord through prayer, will give us a greater desire to read. Our motivation will be increased. Just like taking a shower each day. It will become something we cannot go without. Living in the holiness of God is fulfilling. The things of the world only let us down but God’s love has no end. The Bible is here, “That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” God’s love leads us to walk like Jesus. If we heed God’s voice, then we will be led to walk in His ways. Good works will be a part of who we are. Following Jesus will lead us to love one another. Our minds will be filled with His peace. Our daily walk will have meaning. We may not know where life is leading us but God does. All it takes is seeking the Lord’s counsel in prayer and Bible study and things will come to light. We will have the direction we need to find our purpose. Since we are all different, this is why God’s Word speaks differently to each of us. Thank You Lord for speaking to our hearts through the Bible. Your words motivate me to live a better life. It helps me focus on Your will over my own. The Holy Spirit gives me guidance I need in life. I am not alone for You are by my side. I love You.

7 And he asked Pharaoh’s officers that were with him in the ward of his lord’s house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sadly to day?
8 And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell me them, I pray you.

2 Timothy 3:16,17 (KJV)
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
