Do Not Displease The Lord

It is not a good thing to displease the Lord. His wrath is kindled against those that 1“take counsel together, against the Lord”. They imagine that nothing can hurt them. That they are fine in this life and they have nothing to worry about. The thing is, there is a God that knows all things. He knows everything that goes on in the public eye and in the private times. 2Nothing is hidden before Him. Even those that practice lawlessness because of unbelief will be judged for what they have been taught. People that hear about the truths of gospel of Jesus and turn away from them will be judged accordingly. Nobody can just live a sinful life and belief there isn’t consequences. Just like on earth there are consequences for our actions. God is also just and will judge us by our works. If you desire to be found worthy in His sight than change your lives today. Live for Him and not the world. Give Him your time and not the lusts of the flesh. Make Him the King of your heart. The Lord will welcome you in and make you His sons and daughters if you love Him. 1“Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.” By so doing, you will understand that His judgments are swift and how important it is to be on His side. Lift up the Lord often, lest you 1“perish from the way”. 3Those that endure to the end with Christ, at the center of their heart, will be forever blessed. We will find true joy in this life and the life to come if we trust in Jesus.

The Lord spoke to my heart when I was caught up in my wicked ways. He was loving enough to take me in but also just in His dealings with me. In my addictions, I could feel His wrath in His displeasure for my actions. What I didn’t realize is there was forgiveness for I’ve done. Though He was upset, He was waiting for me to give my life to Him. That I would finally see the light of what I had been doing to not only hurt myself but others. He brought forward what I had done and how to make things right. He openly forgave me and helped me find closure with those people I had affected wrongfully along the way. I didn’t have to face others on my own for He was there with me. Oh, how grateful I am that the Lord is so patient. He could have given up on me a long time ago but He stuck it out with me. Though I thought I’d never see the light of day for what’s I had done He came and changed everything. His light has eclipsed all darkness. My doubts have been turned into hope. My life is no longer waiting for redemption for Jesus has come and set me free. He is my Savior and King.

Let us pray:
Thank You Lord for your kindness. Though I’ve been disobedient to Your laws, You have shown me mercy. I could feel Your wrath but now all I feel is Your love. My trust is in You Lord. You are worth every minute to follow You. I love to read the Bible for it draws me closer to You. I love to pray for Your counsel is wise. I praise You for You are great. I love You. Amen.
