Give Heed to God’s Messenger

The Lord knows all. Even when you think you are alone, 2everything is uncovered. You can’t escape your fleshly lusts from His sight. He knows your heart and any addictions that have you bound. Jesus is calling people to come to Him but so many are consumed with their own desires instead of His. They may hear His calling but it goes through one ear and out the other. Did you know that the Lord uses His messengers to bring forth His good news. People like you and I, that are willing be used for His kingdom, His Holy Spirit overflows deep within us and to others. Our words have the ability to change lives, if the words we speak are His. These same messages that we share are the same that most people reject. They think they are only rejecting us but they are rejecting the messenger of Jesus Christ. If Jesus was here right now, it wouldn’t be any different. The same happened with John the Baptist and Jesus himself. God has a message to speak through us for all mankind to hear. It is a message of hope and a timely message at that. 5No one knows the day we die and only God’s elect will be saved from 9eternal destruction in hell. All those that believe in Jesus are saved. He already paid the price for our sins on the cross. It is up to each person give up all their wickedness to God and ask for His mercy. Those that trust in the Lord and believe are forgiven. The Lord is able to renew our hearts each time we repent. This isn’t a one and done thing. Each time we fall under sin it is essential to repent and ask for forgiveness. Jesus says that each time we pray we must ask God to 3“forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors” and to “lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil”. We are in need of forgiveness and are indebted to the Lord when we sin. No longer cover it but give it all to God.

10God’s message of hope is for all mankind. It is being proclaimed to all the world, by people like you and me, if they might have ears to hear. If you have lost your way then come to Jesus. Ask Him back into your life with all your heart. If you hear family, friends, coworkers, church goers or people on the streets encouraging you to change your life and make yourself right with the Lord then listen to them. God is using people you know and others you don’t to plant many seeds in people’s hearts. These messages are for everyone. Even believers need to be encouraged to seek the Lord more 8often in prayer and 1daily Bible study. Those that are coming to the Lord or are in the faith, now, should all be fellow-shipped. 6We are the body of Christ and the only way it is nourished is if help others grow in the faith. The two greatest commandments are to love the Lord with all your heart and our neighbor as our self. But how can you do this if you are keeping the Lord to yourself. Truly love God and His love will overflow from you to everyone around you. Don’t keep the goodness that God has put in your lives to yourself. Share it with boldness for all to hear. If each of you are willing to put God first than many more lives will be saved. 4Our willingness to walk with God will bring forth much fruit in His harvest. 7Giving God our time will change everything. No longer will we be so busy and exclude him in our daily life. We will seek to do His will first.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, may more people’s hearts change this very day. May they begin to listen when they hear Your message of hope. Give all believers are a greater desire to proclaim Your great love and to be fellow-shipped. Help us make Your time more valuable. You are more important than anything I could ever have in this life. I love You. Amen.

20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.
21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked.
25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

92 Thessalonians 1:3-11 (KJV)
3 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;
4 So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
5 Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
