Blessed Are The Faithful Of God

When your heart is for the Lord then it will be made known in your life. You will no longer be in darkness but in His glorious light. You shall know the way for you have heard the counsel of God and have listened. When you feel directed by the Lord, you act on it. This isn’t a hardship or something you work on. Living in God’s will is a part of who you’ve become. It is a great blessing for your life and the lives around you. Having the Spirit in your life makes everything better. You have a sense of direction that you never had before. You have continual peace when life is hard. You feel lifted up because of the happiness God has given you. These are the characteristics of the servants of God. They are content to be in line with God’s teachings and don’t expect anything in return. Nothing they accomplish has need to boast but they are blessed just to be a servant of their king. Just as David proclaimed, there hearts also say, 1“O Lord; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! Thou hast given him his heart’s desire.” Everything they needed God has given to them. They have true fulfillment because of God’s presence. If you feel blessed because of God’s great love for you, give Him thanks. Rejoice in God’s glorious offerings. Praise His Holy Name for He is the bearer of all good things in our lives.

We have much to be grateful for. Everyone that is in the fold of Christ is blessed beyond years. We are saved because of the mercy of God. Though we are sinners, the blood of Jesus cleanses us and makes us right before Him. We have no way of taming the flesh’s desire for sin, on our own, but Jesus is able to make us strong to withstand it. 2He understands our nature to sin so He does something nobody else can do and that is to make us born again. In doing so, our old nature to do things contrary to God is replaced with our willingness to serve Him. All it takes is a desire to follow Jesus and act on it. If you let Him take you by the hand then you will be made whole. His righteousness will come upon you and help you make better decisions. How amazing is it that God can restore us from death to life. How grate is His love and patience for us. 1“His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him. For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.” Your life has made God joyful. He loves you, oh so very much. When you give your life to Him, it isn’t only the best day of your life but also a glorious day for God. For you were lost and have been found. The great shepherd has taken you in. He cares for you more than you will ever know.

Let us pray:
Lord, we are honored to follow You. Your sacrifice on the cross brings us to tears. We are grateful that you died for us. We would not be here now if You hadn’t loved us so much. How great is your affection for mankind. Nobody can match the goodness of Your heart. Your mercy has brought me from darkness into Your light. For the first time ever I feel true forgiveness for my sins. Thank you for your grace. You didn’t have to give me another chance but you saw the potential in me. You saw the person I could become in You. I rejoice for your salvation for it has changed my life for eternity. Blessed is Your Name above all names. I praise You, Lord. I love You. Amen.
