Homosexuality

Our hearts tell a lot about the person we are towards God. People can see us and believe we are good people. 2As can God but He looks at the inward part of our being, to the heart. He can see all the people that love Him and follow in His ways and those that do evil in the world. If our flesh is wielding us to walk by our own conscience then we are more likely to fall into sin. Once a person gets so caught up in their passionate lusts it is so hard to stop. This is because there is no room for God to change them in their lives. 3Their lustful thoughts and actions towards the opposite and same sex has hold of their hearts and desires. Oh how grievous is sexual sin. 1God made us to love one another but to keep that passionate love inside marriage betweem man and woman. Homosexuality is against the standards of God. It is caused by 5“vile affections” towards the same sex. They begin to burn 5“in their lust one toward another” until they fall into this affection. The Bible teaches that women left 5“the natural use of the woman”. Men also 5“with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.” These people are 5“filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness”, 5“Without understanding, covenantbreakers” and 5“without natural affection”. 5“Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death”. How wicked is the homosexual sin. Paul taught that the 7effeminate and “abusers of themselves with mankind” shall not 7“inherit the kingdom of God.” I do not hate the person but the sin. I pray that they see the light and come to Jesus.

The definition of effeminate or malakos, in greek, is the passive male partner in homosexual intercourse–‘homosexual’. The definition of 7“abusers of themselves with mankind” or arsenokoites, in greek, is an adult male who practices sexual intercourse with another adult male or a boy homosexual, sodomite, pederast. The definitions are crystal clear that the Bible does teach about and against homosexuality. If you are living in this sin and do not repent then only hell awaits your soul. The unrepentant sinner has no place in heaven. But you always have a choice. 6Will you heed the invitation of the Lord and confess your sins that Jesus may free you from your bondage? Or will you continue to be led by your fleshly lusts? Choose this day to follow Jesus and be cleansed by the blood of the Lamb. The Word of God is clear that you will perish if you are not for Him. Believe in Jesus that leads to salvation. If your heart is open to receive the Lord in all sincerity than God will have mercy. 6Confess your sins openly and you will receive forgiveness for your sins. Nothing in life is certain until your very last breath. There is time now to be redeemed from your fallen nature. Tomorrow may not come. Make this day count and fall down on your knees and repent. Let Jesus do a work inside of you. You may not have a way to break free from your chains but Jesus can, through you. 4Everyone that comes to the Lord are blessed to live in the light of His love. Many of you were once living in sexual sin but you have been 7“washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.” Praise the Lord for His miracles in our lives.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, our hearts are weak. Strengthen us. Give us hope for a greater cause than what the world offers. Fill us with the Holy Spirit and rip out of our hearts any form of wickedness. Anyone that says they believe in you but are in sin, convict them to change and follow You. Lord, there are so many people living in habitual sin and don’t even realize it offends You. Help them come to know what they are doing is wrong. Help all homosexuals understand that You made man and woman to be married and nothing else of the kind. Help them know that any sexual act outside of marriage with husband and wife is evil. Lord, I once was dead but You found me. You gave me new life. Thank You for Your forgiveness and mercy. Though I didn’t deserve it, You still had hope in me. I am so grateful for Your grace. I love You. Amen.
