Pray And Give Thanks

God has the power to bring us out of harm’s way. Some may see this as physical obstacles that come in our path but others may see this as rescuing us from sin and taking us places spiritually. Both situations are amazing, for the Lord can do greater things for those that seek Him often. When we are in a dangerous situation and God gives us a way out, it is amazing indeed. For we were close to getting very hurt but the Lord personally opened the doors that we could be safe. All it took was lifting up God in prayer and He was able to do the rest. God hears our cries and will come to our rescue when we call upon His Name. Read how David prayed when he was in danger, 2“Make haste, o God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O Lord.” He needed a higher power to save Him. His enemies were near but He knew God could turn them back. He had been there for Him, time and again. No one else could He trust more than God. The Lord does deliver on His promises. 6When everyone else seems to have given up on us there is one that will never let us down. 1The Lord God is the rock of our salvation. He is our greatest deliverer when we need help the most. 3If we seek the Lord, we shall find Him.

5If God has come to your rescue, then rejoice. Give Him thanks. Don’t just pray and receive but pray and give thanks. Give praise to the one who saves. Think of how far the situation could have gone but Jesus stepped in and calmed the raging waters. Waters were stirred but He came in and helps us through the situation. God surely makes a way. Even in the most intense moments, things appear easier to manage when He is there. Thanks to God. God does things that physically change our way of life but also does things spiritually that are lifesaving. What the Lord can do for us in the Spirit is more important than the flesh. It is important to be safe but is more important to be right in the sight of God. God does things to help us physically, because of His great love, but you will appreciate things more when your soul has been saved. 4Only in the Spirit, can we see the kingdom of God. If the Lord has forgiven your sins and has rescued you from a life of sin, than come Him and give thanks. 2“Let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.” 4To be born again is lifesaving. For we were lost, but have been found. We have been covered by the blood of Jesus. Thank You Lord.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I am so grateful for everything You have done for me physically and spiritually. You have come to my rescue in more ways that I know of. How great is Your love. I am sorry for not acknowledging the great things You do for me, so often. Many times I get caught up in asking and receiving instead of giving thanks for all my many blessings. You have surely blessed me and I should have been more grateful. Lord, forgive me for my faults. I am sorry for not giving You the thanks that You deserve. I am in good health because You are the greater healer. I have a wonderful family, with a wife and kids, who love me. I am saved because of Your grace. What more could I ask for. You are the anchor of my soul. I am so grateful for Your sacrifice on the cross. I am a new person because of Your blood. You are my Savior. I love You. Amen.
