Pray For One Another

It is so hard to see a love one move away or get sick. The memories we’ve made are so wonderful that it is difficult to see them leaving or sick. Know that the Lord knows why things happen. Even things we never thought were possible happen for a reason. For this, it is so important that we pray for those we love. Keep a prayer in your heart for those that are traveling, that they may be safe. Pray for those that are going through a rough patch in their lives, that they may find hope. Pray for those that are sick, that in God’s time, healing may come. Visit them and show them the fruits of the kindness of God. Pray with them that God may give them rest from their afflictions. Remember others in your prayers as often as you pray for your own needs. Learn of Paul and how he prayed. 2“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy.” His request was that God would be with them and keep them safe. Even those in the faith, his desire was to fellowship them. Through prayer, each of them were comforted. The Spirit of God brought peace to their lives.

What the Lord can do through us, in prayer, is more than we will ever know. Until we have given our hearts to God we will never know what this means. Come to Jesus and He will unfold His mysteries to you. He will show you the way. Your eyes will be opened to His truths. What God can show you is greater than what all the world can give. He will do great things in the lives of those that trust Him. Paul was 2“confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Until His return, He will continue to do amazing things in your life. One thing that God does that is greater than anything else is His saving grace. As we are sanctified in the blood of Jesus, our flesh is renewed. 1We are born again. God invites us into His fold and declares, 2“ye all are partakers of my grace.” Praise God for His mercy and grace. When you are saved, it will come naturally to pray for others. You will long to share the gospel and help others. Just as Paul proclaimed, 2“For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.” This same desire will come into your life like a wild fire. I thank God for what He can do in our lives.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, give us a bigger heart to pray for one another. May our lives be that we love one another more than ourselves. May your love come inside of us that others may see. May people grow closer to You by way of our lives. May you be a light to all those that see. Shine bright before us and within us. Never leave our side. Keep us going when things are hard. Keep us safe in Your loving arms. Help us to show kindness towards others. May our thoughts continually be on the welfare of others. May our prayers continually be lifted up towards others. Help us to think about their needs and what You can do for their lives. You do such great things in my life and I know You can do the same for others. I pray that the sick may find healing. That the weak may be strong. That the afflicted might find rest. Thank You for being there for me and my neighbors. I love You so much. You are my Savior. Amen.

1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

2Philippians 1:1-8 (KJV)
1 Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:
2 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
8 For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
