God’s Mercy Leads Us To Walk Differently

It is so great to think upon the mercies of our God. To think that He has forgiven a person like me is amazing. Oh how far I had gone astray but the Lord still took me back. He never hid His face from me but I was the one that left His side. I was so lost without the Lord. My guilt was so heavy. My shame continually afflicted my soul. Only through the grace of God have I been freed. His blood has covered me and I am set free. He heard my cries and showed compassion. The Lord does hear our confessions, I am a witness of that. 2I also know that His forgiveness is for all that call upon His name. God truly answers our prayers. He is there for anyone that trusts in Him for deliverance. Because my life has been changed, by God’s hand, I am so grateful. All I want to do is speak of His mercy and share His love. I rejoice in the name of Jesus. 1“I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O Lord, will I sing.” I love the ways of God and know His judgement is just. When the Lord is with me 1“I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way.” How is this? Because the Lord wills me to do what is right. My desires becomes conformed to His will and not mine own. I give thanks to God for showing me the way.

You may have no control over the lusts of your flesh now, but God can help you take control. As you put your trust in Him, all things are made possible. Every chain of addiction can be broken, if we but believe in the name of Jesus. Just like the Lord has freed me from the filth of pornography, He can do even greater things for those that believe in Him. Their hope in Christ will help them overcome any sin that has them bound. 3As we confess our sins to God, there is a refreshing in our soul and body. Through repentance of our sins, we become converted to the Lord. In this fashion, our 3“sins may be blotted out.” Thanks to Jesus and the cross, His blood has covered our sins. With the Lord in my life, 1“I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes.” The Lord guides me into all righteousness and I am so happy. Anything wicked in my “heart shall depart from me”. The Holy Spirit then gives me wisdom, that I may walk in the light of Christ. 1“Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land.” God gives me eyes to see. Not only is my life changed but others as well. Because God has touched my life, His love overflows into the lives of others. I pray that God’s love will continue to shine forth within me. Thank You Lord.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, please continue to watch over me. Give me strength to resist the temptations of the devil. Your ways are greater. I love to walk in Your holiness. There is no guilt or shame with it. I am in peace and your joy flows through me. There is no greater time than to be in your presence. The world can only offer me temporary pleasure but Your happiness is eternal. I love Your ways. You continually bring me joy. Thank You for changing my life. I would have never known Your great love unless You helped me. You were the one that pulled me through. You saw the chains of sin, in my life and cut them loose. Only You could do this. I was truly bound in my addictions but You were the one that changed the atmosphere. When Your forgiveness fell upon me, I was changed. My heart was turned from darkness and into Your light. Thank You for Your mercy. I love You. Amen.
