God Leads Us

Give glory to God, in the highest. Sing to the God who saves. The Lord has not left us here without a plan. The Lord God has come to show us the way. Through the cross, though we have died in our sins, we are made alive through Christ the Lord. We have all stumbled into darkness. We have lost our way. Many things we have done that we wish we hadn’t. 3“We all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh.” The Lord knows all of this. 2He knows that without Him we are only wanderers on a path to destruction. For this reason, Jesus stepped in to give us a new hope. He gives us a new direction that leads straightway to heaven. His path is righteous. His path is holy. We are honored and privileged to be brought out of the life we once knew and into His presence. As strangers, Jesus takes us in. Everyone that calls upon His name in confession will receive a restitution for their sins. Jesus is honored to take us in when we are humble enough to make Him a part of our lives. Through His mercy, we are washed clean. Through His blood, our sins are forgiven. Only the Lord could redeem us 1“from the hand of the enemy.” Without Jesus, we walk aimlessly in his clutches but with the Lord, we walk in faith, knowing which way is right. Everyone that believes in Jesus, He gathers 1“them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.”

The Lord can surely breathe new life into our lost souls. Our belief in Him, can move mountains in our lives. We can overcome addictions that we never thought were possible to escape. Jesus breaks the chains of sin, and gives us strength to overcome the temptations of the devil. If you have been impacted by God’s grace and mercy, won’t you pray now and give thanks. 1“O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.” Just like the Israelites, that 1“wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way”, being so 1“hungry and thirsty,” God comes and changes the atmosphere. When your soul begins to faint because of your emptiness inside, know that God cares. As people have 1“cried unto the Lord in their trouble”, He 1“delivered them out of their distresses.” Know that the Lord can do the same for your life. As 1“He led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation,” God is also able to take your hand and lead you in the right way. Reach out to the Lord and He will send the Holy Spirit to guide you. What a wonderful God, who cares so deeply for us and our salvation. I am so amazed. 1“Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!” We are so blessed. Everyone that believes in Jesus knows this, for His presence is with them. God surely 1“satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.” Thank You Lord.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, You are welcome here. Have your way within me. Come and fill this place with Your presence. I am at peace when You are near. There is nothing like You. I can never get enough of Your love. Thank You for coming into my life. Thank You for showing such mercy for my soul. Oh how lost I was without You Lord. I surely never experienced true love until I found You. Thank You for showing me the way. Thank You for taking me in though I was so sinful and undeserving. Your kindness never fails. Your mercy endures forever. You never gave up me. There is nothing like Your patience. Help others that haven’t given their life to You, have a change of heart, this day. May a revival set inside of them all. Resurrect their souls and take them from out of the darkness. Come and light up their paths. Help them see Your light. Shine brightly, oh Lord. Come inside of us all and bring us all closer to Your presence daily. We need more of You. I love You. Amen.

3Ephesians 2:1-10 (KJV)
1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
