God’s Words Are Holy

If there is one thing that the Lord desires of us all is that our hearts are fixed on Him, who saves. So many people start off in the faith and then go astray. However, because they truly never sought after God in the Bible or prayer, they fell into sin. Their fleshly nature kicks in and they cannot tame their own desires. Because they aren’t seeking the Lord’s hand, He is unable to help them. God desires but their heart is unwilling. It isn’t that God doesn’t want to help them, for He is waiting all the day long for these people to repent and call upon His name. The Bible teaches that 3“whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” God is willing to take their hand and lead them to safety. Only God can lift us up and place us on His path that leads to heaven. If you are not on the Lord’s path now, then repent. We are taught that 3“with the mouth”, 3“confession is made unto salvation.” Do you believe this? If you do not, then you do not believe in God’s Word. If you believe in God then also know His words. Read the Bible daily. Go to church and listen to your pastor teach from the Word. 3“Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” God’s Word can be heard but it is up to you to listen. The Lord is waiting to connect with each of us personally. It is up to you to make time for God. Read the Bible and your life will be blessed.

God’s words are holy. 1“The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.” We truly are led to know God by reading the Bible. Our faith is increased a hundred fold as we read. Our desire to walk in the light of Jesus is elevated. Our desire to share God’s message of hope with others is increased. 3“It is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!” When I am reading the Bible, I have a greater desire to witness God’s truths. The Lord is in my heart and my desire to know Him is much greater. My heart cries out, 2“O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.” God’s Word brings knowledge to my mind and I can’t help but give thanks unto God. Just as David wrote, 2“I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.” I know that the Bible is true. It is the Word of God. It has been tried and tested and deemed holy and pure. 1God has preserved the Bible for generations for a purpose. This is for all of us to draw nearer to God in faith. If you draw nearer to the Lord then He will draw nearer to you. You won’t be moved towards living in the world, for the Holy Spirit will be in your life. God’s helps us when we are in trouble or tempted. Trust in Him and your life will forever change.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, Your words help me grow in the faith. I am grateful that You find time to speak to my heart as I read. When I am reading the Bible I know You are there. You speak truth to my heart that I might know You better. Thank You for teaching me. Thank You for giving me wisdom. Thank You for taking me, though I am a sinner. Thank You for Your mercy. Thank You for forgiving me when I call upon Your Name. You are so gracious to forgive me of my trespasses. Just to know You gives me hope. I am safe from the storms of life for You are there to lead me. You are the rock of my salvation. I will not be moved. My heart is fixed on Your promises. It is Your love that moves me to praise You. I love You. Amen.
