Daily Prayer:Oh Lord, I love and cherish Your Words. Your words have impacted my life more than I will ever know. Every time I read, I am amazed by the words of the Bible. The verses truly pierce my soul and bring me closer to You. For so long, I resisted the promptings of the Spirit and I am sorry. I would skip over verses because it went against my way of life. The Word of God was hard to take in because of my sins. But Lord, I know that You tried to speak to my soul and it was I that resisted. I know now that it was meaningless to disregard Your wise counsel for my life. If I am not living by what the Word of God says, I am in the wrong and am sorry. Thank You for taking me in and showing mercy for my soul. Thank You for Your forgiveness. I will never stop the Word of God from changing my life again. Lord, I do not wish to be apart from Your love. If there is sin in my life, please make it known. May Your words penetrate my heart to repentance. I love You more than the things of this world.
