Lord, Judge Me Now

Allow the Lord to judge you now, lest you be judged later, in death, and be found unworthy. Wouldn’t it be better to have a clean conscience now, then to know, later on, that we actually lived apart from God? Let it be known that it is 3“appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” So many people die in their sins and find out, in judgement, that they are unworthy to stand before God. Their true person speaks volumes, among the person they thought they were in Christ. They did not incline their ears to the ways of the Lord, in order to change their lives. Instead, sin abounded and their own works cared them forth. If people would simply give their lives over to Christ, He would be able to have His way inside their lives. However, people put up a fake persona of themselves and believe they are saved. Understand that we cannot justify our own salvation, only God. If the Holy Spirit is not within us, then we are not His, and His desire to save us is also not there. 2God’s wrath is poured out upon the wicked. Let this person not be you. David teaches, 1“His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.” His wrath is upon the wicked but His mercy is for everyone that trusts in Him.

Too many so-called Christians have died and gone to hell because they thought their own good works would save them. Let it be known that this does not have to be. It is sad, but can be stopped. We can welcome the Lord in our lives, that we might be saved. This way, we won’t have to be devasted in judgement. Judgement should be a time to rejoice, for we are before our King. We love and honor the Lord and it is a pleasure to come before His presence. Listen to what David did to ensure His salvation. 1“Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed; I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids, Until I find out a place for the Lord.” Make it known to God that you desire to know His ways and walk in them, above all else. Confess your sins before the Lord. Ask for His forgiveness. He knows a sincere heart when He sees it. May you be open to God for a cleansing and direction for your life. There is salvation in the Lord Jesus. He wants to lead us to heaven, but our hearts need to also be for Him. Let the Lord be your strength and you will be on the right path. The saints will 1“be clothed with righteousnes”, and will 1“shout for joy.”

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, we know that we are lost without You. Our sins have convicted us of our unworthiness. We confess our sins before You now. Have mercy upon our souls. Help us to know no longer fall victim to temptation. Strengthen us and gives us courage to fight against sin. Cleanse our hearts that we might walk in Your righteousness. Cast out anything that is contrary to Your presence from our hearts and our minds. Fill us with Your love and peace. Help us to desire what is good over evil. I know that You can lead us. I trust in You, Jesus. Give us the strength to carry on. Incline our ears to Your will. We desire to walk in Your ways. You are our Savior and we look to You for salvation. Come and rescue us. Point us on the right path. Take our hands and lead us forth. Our hope is in Your promises. I love You. Amen.

1Psalm 132 (KJV)
1 Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions:
2 How he sware unto the Lord, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;
3 Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;
4 I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,
5 Until I find out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.
6 Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.
7 We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.
8 Arise, O Lord, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.
9 Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.
10 For thy servant David’s sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.
11 The Lord hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
12 If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.
13 For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
14 This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
15 I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.
16 I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
17 There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.
18 His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.

2Romans 1:16-25 (KJV)
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

3Hebrews 9:24-28 (KJV)
24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
