Are You Ready For Judgement?

Before judgement comes, prepare yourself and make sure you are ready. In a similar way that people go to an interview and have reviewed questions over and over in their mind, do so in God’s Word and prayer. Study the Bible until it is written in your heart and mind. Continue to find refuge in the Lord’s presence, while in prayer. I can try to guess what direction is correct in life but it will always be incorrect if the Lord is not my guide. We must take a back seat and let the Lord take the wheel. It is a sad thing to see people lean on their own understanding apart from God. They are only leading a life that leads to destruction. Read what Solomon said, 1“trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” It is foolishness to believe we are saved, if we are wise in our own eyes and not allowing God to help us depart from evil. This is not God’s ways but the ways of the evil one. Check yourself, lest you be found unworthy in the day of judgement. Only those that are covered by the blood of Jesus will be saved. Only the Lord can cleanse us from all sin and place us on the right path.

Those whose hearts are closed off to God’s will, in their life, are on a slippery slope to hell. Unless they open their hearts to God, they will surely die in their sins. As Paul said, 2“thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God.” God will 2“render every man according to his deeds”. However, if those works were not from God they will not be acceptable. What we do apart from the Lord is only showing a lack of obedience to our King. 2“Unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath.” Living a life of sin is serious in the sight of God. Don’t try to cover a life of wickedness. The Lord can see right through it. 2“God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ.” Everything will be an open book in the day of judgement. I pray that you will allow the Lord to come into your life, this day. 1“Despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction:” Open your heart and allow the Lord to direct your paths. 1“Happy is the man that findeth wisdom” from God. This knowledge will lead you from darkness and into His light.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, 3I know that after death comes judgment. I know that depending on the life we lead, there will either be rejoicing or trembling in that day. As for me, my heart is for You. I do not wish to leave Your path. There is no one else I’d rather serve but You, Lord God. My happiness can only be found in You. Where else can I go but Your love. Lord, lead me all the days of my life. Help me not go off your path. Build up my faith that I might fight against temptation. I wish to live out this life with You in my heart always. I also wish to lead many people to Your presence. When my day comes and death comes my way, I will be ready. I can’t wait to come before You. I will bow down before You and rejoice. You are my King and I give You all the glory. I give You all the praise. My life is Yours. I love You. Amen.

1Proverbs 3:1-13 (KJV)
1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
9 Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
11 My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction:
12 For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

2Romans 2:1-16 (KJV)
1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
2 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
11 For there is no respect of persons with God.
12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

3Hebrews 9:24-28 (KJV)
24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
