Obey The Commandments And Obtain Life

It is so important that we give our time to the Lord, love on Him and also love our neighbor. 1“A false balance is abomination to the Lord: but a just weight is his delight.” And true direction comes when our pride is lowered. In doing this, we gain the wisdom of God and His love is able to enter our hearts. When the Lord transforms our lives, there is nothing like it. Instead of being compelled to do kind things, it becomes who we are. Daily Bible study and prayer helps us obtain this perfect love for God and those around us. It helps us understand that this is the will of God. Therefore, to obey the Lord’s commands and show love, it becomes delightsome. Jesus said, 2“thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul.” 2“Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” A believer in Christ understands how important these two commands are and praises God. Read what Jesus said next, 2“there is none other commandment greater than these.” These two laws have been given to us all to help us know how to live for God and do His will. Only by showing our love towards God and our neighbor, is our faith on full display, otherwise it is dead. Jesus continued, 3“if ye love me, keep my commandments.” How can we call Him Lord, if we aren’t showing love towards Him and our neighbor? 6“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” Most everyone’s goal in life is to die and go to heaven, but only God’s faithful, who obey God’s commands, will be able to enter. This is the requirement to enter life with God. Seek His face and your salvation will be secure.

Please understand that 1“riches profit not in the day of wrath.” Why build up a life of wealth and security for this life, when it will all, one day, come to dust? It is more important to build up your security in heaven. When you show integrity to God, you are able to be guided by the Spirit. Give all your addictions to God. 4You will have to pay for your transgressions, unless Jesus has covered you by His blood. Come to Jesus and die to yourself, this day. Be made righteous in Christ Jesus. 5You are not meant to perish and suffer in hell, but to live without fear and pain in heaven. And if God makes you righteous, you are delivered from all your trouble, indeed. Surely, 1“the hope of unjust men perisheth.” Please understand what wickedness does to somebody. Please read this next quote very carefully, 1“an hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour.” This lifestyle is doing the opposite of loving our neighbor. To cause harm upon another through anger, violence, name calling, blaming, judging, and to not forgive is living for oneself and not God. This is not the life of a Christian. If this is your life, repent. And do so before it is too late. Ask God to forgive you. May His grace fall upon you, as you humble yourself before Him. There is mercy and forgiveness. Love can break us free from our bondage. We are capable of doing so much more if we but trust in God. 1If you have been set free, the city of God rejoiceth. But where 1“the wicked perish, there is shouting.” For they knew better and now they are very bitter. Come unto Jesus and His love will come inside of you. Then, a transformation will occur and obeying His commands will become who you are.

Let us pray:
I pray Lord that Your love will come inside us all. May we begin to come unto You fully, that Your love may abound in our lives. Lower our pride that we may see past ourselves and begin to see the value of every life, around us. May we see as You see us Lord. Lower the veil off our faces, that true kindness may begin to be shown to everyone around us. May our actions be made known in word and deed. I know that You are my Lord and my God. You are my Savior and healer. Thank You for coming inside my life and showing mercy to my soul. I am alive because of You. Thank You for seeing past the person I once was and seeing the person I could become. May this same love that You have shown towards me, time and time again, come inside of me also. I love You Lord. Use me to help others in need. When I know and respond to Your promptings to help others. Give me words to speak. Help me show true kindness and love. Help me know how to help people at all costs. Open their hearts for prayer, that Your peace may overflow inside of them. I know that You can use me to show this love to one another. I trust in You Lord. My heart is wide open. Use me to do Your will. May love abound always. I love You. Amen.
