Endure In Your Faith For Salvation

The Bible is clear when it comes to true conversion. This comes when we believe in Jesus and our sins our forgiven. We were all once given over to the things of this world. We were involved with the 3“pleasures of this life,” while 3“fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind.” We were all a slave to sin and there was no 3“fruit to perfection,” but only wickedness. We were 3“children of disobedience,” and therefore distant from God and in terrible need of His mercy and grace. This is the life that Jesus has come to pay the price for, while on the cross. He died that we might be redeemed and therefore, be transformed in the flesh. Many of you know this to be true but never experienced this life change before. And please know that the Lord is waiting for you to come to Him. 3“In time past ye walked according to the course of this world.” But that is in the past and your new life starts today. As you pray and confess your sins to God, in repentance, the Lord will begin to transform your life and change your heart. For 3“God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ.” In His presence, all our burdens are lifted. We were once afar off but that time is gone. In our humility, the Holy Spirit comes nigh unto us and we are cleansed 3“by the blood of Christ.” 4Through Him, we are able to fight against and withstand temptation. We are able to come out victorious in Christ Jesus.

The more we seek the Lord in prayer and the Bible, our faith will grow stronger. We will not be like some, where 2“cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts.” Because our faith is on solid ground, our belief continues. Jesus desires that all people 2“should believe and be saved,” not deny Him and therefore take a different course in life. However, there are many that were once in the faith but have left, though they truly believed. Jesus explains why, 2“they on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.” Because there was no fruits of their faith, they fell away under pressure. However, there are some that on good ground, which have 2“an honest and good heart”. They 2“having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.” They do not just say they believe but live a life for Christ. They do as He says. Beware, since Jesus says that what you hope to have, including your salvation, can be taken away. This is the course of everyone that goes astray and does not repent. 2“Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.” Salvation does come through faith, but this 5“faith without works is dead”. True faith has fruits also. But most of all, it endures. Jesus taught 1“he that endureth to the end shall be saved.”

Let us all pray:
Oh Lord, I am sorry for my sins. Please forgive me as I have strayed. Accept my plea for forgiveness. Hear my confessions. I need You Lord. I am sorry for walking a life apart from Your love. This lustful life that I once led has only brought about burdens and stress upon me. The momentary pleasures are not worthy the shame and guilt. I am indeed sorry for the life I have led. I no longer wish to hurt You or my own life. Please come and cleanse me of all my sins. You are my healer and can transform my life. Only You can rescue me. I trust in You Lord. I give You my life. You are the hope of my salvation. Your words, in the Bible, has brought me here today. It has brought me to You, Lord. I need Your presence in my life. I need Your guidance. I need direction, that only comes from You. Please take my hand and lead me safely on Your path. Help me to resist temptation and no longer fall into the same traps I once fell into. I no longer wish to go through that hurt any longer. With You in my life Lord, I know that I do greater things. My faith is growing now, just talking to You. Strengthen me Lord. I love You. Amen.

1Matthew 10:16-22 (KJV)
16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

2Luke 8:4-18 (KJV)
4 And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable:
5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.
7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.
8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
9 And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?
10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
16 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.
17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.
18 Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.

3Ephesians 2:1-13 (KJV)
1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

4James 1:12-16 (KJV)
12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.

5James 2:14-20 (KJV)
14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
