Daily Prayer:Lord, help us all to turn from our sins. Each time we fall under temptation, prick our hearts that we may know what we’ve done is wrong, that we may repent. May their be sorrow in each of us that leads to confession of sins. We are sorry for the sins we have committed today, oh Lord. We do not wish to offend You again. We also do not wish to be tarnished by the lusts of our flesh any longer. Have mercy upon us Lord. Have compassion for our lives and lead us away from the darkness. Cleanse our hearts and minds that we may think and live differently. Help us continually look to You in faith that we may no longer fall willingly into sin. We know that our flesh is weak without You but with You in our lives, we are strong. We can fight the battles that rage in this world and become victorious. When we no longer wish to fall under temptation and sin, that is God drawing us to Him. It is His power that helps us defeat Satan in his trickery.

Daily Prayer:Oh Lord, I love reading Your words in the Bible. I just need Your direction each time I read. I ask for the Holy Spirit to be present evert time I read and study. I’d rather not be led by my own thinking or the thoughts of one another but what the Spirit gives. I do not wish to be led astray Lord. Lead every Bible discussion that I am a part of. Yes Lord, teach us and prick our hearts to do Your will. We know that the Bible is a wealth of knowledge and through Your guidance, we can grow in the faith. We are all on our own different paths and need You to give us the understanding we need to go forward in life. Help intensify our desires to serve You and to do Your will. May our hearts be zeroed in on what You want to do for our lives and will us to do it. I know that I have missed the mark many times, when You have called my name and I am sorry. I regret the opportunities to do as Your word says and to truly love one another. Please forgive me Lord. Give me more opportunities to serve You and I will respond favorably. I love You. Amen.
Be Leary about attending any Bible study where prayer is not emphasized. We never want to be led astray by men and women’s own understanding avoid from God.
Back from my hiking trip. It is has been awesome to be in the woods, these many days. I had a lot of time to think about God and read His Words in the Bible. I am strengthened in the Lord.

Daily Prayer:Oh Lord, I pray that people will start reading the Bible and begin to have sound doctrine come inside their hearts. May they understand your gospel truths and no longer twist them into believing a doctrine of men. I know that salvation is so important and for this, we cannot take it lightly. You have the right to give it and take away. Just as you have the right to add our names to the book of life and then blot our names out. I know that because you are rich in mercy, there is salvation. When we come to You in repentance, I can feel Your compassion. You can see where I am and how far I’ve gone because of the lusts of my flesh. And as I confess my sins openly, there is healing. You hear my cries. I am lost without You Lord and need Your guidance. Thank You for helping me and leading me from temptation. You make my faith stronger. I trust in You Lord. I love You. Amen.
To receive salvation in Christ is to believe, while showing fruits. This can also be through repentance and good works that God does through us.

Daily Prayer:Oh Lord, we come to You as a sinner, who is in need of a Savior. We admit that we are lost and need Your deliverance. There is nobody that has the power to save us but You. Only through Your blood, can we be cleansed from all sin. Our flesh is weak and easily given over to the lusts of the flesh, but with Your help, we can overcome all things. Temptation can no longer ruin our lives when You are there to build us up. We know that what has pulled us into darkness in the past can be cast out. You can change our appetites and renew our hearts. We ask You to come and transform our lives. Give us a clean heart and mind. Help us to focus on You and Your promises. May our priorities fall in line with Your will. We trust in You God. We come to You today in repentance, for we need Your mercy. It is Your forgiveness that we seek. Thank You for the cross and for taking my sins upon You. You are my Savior. Only You could be so compassionate to us all. There is nothing like Your love. Thank You Lord. I love You. Amen.

Daily Prayer:Lord, please bless every person that is getting married and is married now. Help them grow in their love towards one another. And may they seek Your hand always, that this same love will grow. I know that if we strive to go into our marriage with our own desires and intents, it does not always work out for the best. I have fallen flat on my face, so many times, when I have trusted in my own understanding over You. This all changed, when I fully came to You, Lord, and put You first in my marriage. And now that You are there, my love for You and my wife has increased. I pray that the same thing will happen in more marriages. May couples begin to seek You often in prayer, Bible study and church ministry. May they strive to do Your will, and do this as a couple. Love in marriage can grow dim but with You at the head, it can continue to stay lighted up and vibrant for the rest of our lives. There is something special when Your love is showcased in my marriage and I want more of it. Thank You for coming into my marriage and rejuvenating it. I needed it Lord. Thank You. I love You. Amen.
