Today’s Prayer (07/07/2018)

Daily Prayer:
Oh Lord, please open and soften the hearts of Mormons. May they become more zealous for what is true. Help them seek for answers instead of just accepting what they believe is true. May they start reading the Bible daily, that Your truths, can flow deep into their hearts. I know that when I was in that church I thought I knew the truth of God, but when I truly started to read Your words, I was shown differently. It was then, that Your wisdom began to fill my heart, I had answers to many things but also questions about my faith. You opened my eyes to Your truths while also showing me the deception I was under. I began to find out that there are teachings of men that I needed to stray away from. And if any teaching was contrary to the Bible, I was to leave it immediately and no longer be a part of it. Thank You for showing me these things. Though it was hard to leave a faith that I was raised in, I knew it was for the best. I’d rather follow Your teachings than to find comfort in a church that does not save. Now, I am on solid ground. You are my hope and whom I trust for answers. Thank You for showing me the way. I love You. Amen.

Rescued From The Mormon Church

Only through God can we be safe in this life. Through Him and His Words, in the Bible, we can know what is truth and be led safely on His path, that leads to heaven.

Philippians 2:13-15

Philippians 2:13-15 (KJV)
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Philippians 2:12,13

Philippians 2:12,13 (KJV)
12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Philippians 2:2-5

Philippians 2:2-5 (KJV)
2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Today’s Prayer (07/06/2018)

Daily Prayer:
Lord, help me to continue to live out my life, while strong in the faith. Give me the strength to carry on. Help me to not be tempted and fall into sin. May my faith be continually raised up, that I may fight against sin and the ways of wickedness. Please send Your Holy Spirit to guide me. I need Your direction, God. Help me to continually look to You in faith and to love others as much as I love You. May Your love flow through my veins and into the lives of everyone that I touch. May more people be uplifted and cared for as You work through my life. Lead me to people in need. Help me to show kindness and compassion towards them. May I know their needs and love on them, as You love on me. Have Your way inside of me, that I may better follow You and treat others with respect. I pray that Your light will shine down upon me. May others see this joy in my life and seek it for themselves. I know that only You give us the happiness we need. What You give never ends and that is what I strive for. I love You. Amen.

Christian Characteristics

The early church members are a great example of how a Christian ought to live a life for Christ. When I say ought to, it means desire to live righteously and get off of the path of wickedness.

Ephesians 2:1-5

Ephesians 2:1-5 (KJV)
1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

Luke 8:11-13

Luke 8:11-13 (KJV)
11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

Matthew 10:21,22

Matthew 10:21,22 (KJV)
21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Today’s Prayer (07/05/2018)

Daily Prayer:
Oh Lord, I am sorry for my sins. Please forgive me as I have strayed. Accept my plea for forgiveness. Hear my confessions. I need You Lord. I am sorry for walking a life apart from Your love. This lustful life that I once led has only brought about burdens and stress upon me. The momentary pleasures are not worthy the shame and guilt. I am indeed sorry for the life I have led. I no longer wish to hurt You or my own life. Please come and cleanse me of all my sins. You are my healer and can transform my life. Only You can rescue me. I trust in You Lord. I give You my life. You are the hope of my salvation. Your words, in the Bible, has brought me here today. It has brought me to You, Lord. I need Your presence in my life. I need Your guidance. I need direction, that only comes from You. Please take my hand and lead me safely on Your path. Help me to resist temptation and no longer fall into the same traps I once fell into. I no longer wish to go through that hurt any longer. With You in my life Lord, I know that I do greater things. My faith is growing now, just talking to You. Strengthen me Lord. I love You. Amen.

Endure In Your Faith For Salvation

The more we seek the Lord in prayer and the Bible, our faith will grow stronger. We will not be like some, where “cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts.

James 1:13-15

James 1:13-15 (KJV)
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Today’s Inspiration #2 (07/04/2018)

What are you doing in masturbation? Your thoughts are most likely thinking of a woman or man inappropriately or you have just looked at or are looking at porn in the moment of that act. Therefore, this very act is lust in itself. It is also causing your own body to have sex with your hand. This act alone is sickening and God does not approve.

Today’s Inspiration #1 (07/04/2018)

Daily Prayer:
Oh Lord, I pray that You will send the Holy Spirit to convict people’s hearts of their sexual sins. To many people say they are Christians but still practice sexual sin and justify it. It is very disheartening to see these people live in sin and not even be aware of it. It seems that Satan has its grips on so many people and because of it, they are blinded to their wickedness. May this all pass away Lord. Heal their blindness, that they may see the wickedness that they are in. Give them eyes to see their brokenness. I pray that these people will see that fornication, adultery, pornography and masturbation is evil and unholy. May they confess their sins and repent. Please come and cleanse them of these sins. Help them resist temptation as You help me. I know that I was once like these people, but You came and did a mighty work in my heart. You were the one that cast out the darkness and brought me into the light. You have restored me. Now I am strong to resist temptation. Thank You Jesus. I love You. Amen.

Sexual Sin Can Send A Person To Hell

As the Bible teaches, adultery, fornication and pornography is not tolerated with God and therefore, these people will feel the wrath of God in judgement, lest they repent.

Revelation 19:7-9

Revelation 19:7-9 (KJV)
7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

Proverbs 15:18,19

Proverbs 15:18,19 (KJV)
18 A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.
19 The way of the slothful man is as an hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous is made plain.

Today’s Prayer (07/03/2018)

Daily Prayer:
Oh Lord, thank You for coming into my life and bringing wisdom into my soul. Thank You for convicting me of all my sins, that I might find mercy and forgiveness. Thank You for hearing my prayers and showing me grace. For so many years I did not heed the warnings of my sins and I am so grateful to have been given extra time on earth to repent, though I was not so diligent early on in life. I knew that what I was doing was wrong, but I did it anyways. I did not listen to people if it had to do with the lifestyle I was living. I thought I was happy and even if it was wrong, it was my secret to keep. In all this, I was only fooling myself. And when I finally came to grips with my abundant wickedness, I was saddened to the core. Yes, Lord, this sadness and grief pained me and I never thought I could ever be forgiven. Oh how wrong I was. I did not realize that You were so loving. I did not know that You were so compassionate and patient with me. When I humbled myself, in all my brokenness, before You, You came and heard my cries. In my confessions, You did come and changed my life. I was blind but I can now see. You have rescued me from darkness. Thank You for Your love and kindness. I am so grateful to have found You. I give You my life. You have my heart. I trust in You. All my days, I will follow You. I love You. Amen.

Are You Foolish Or Wise?

The Lord gives us the peace we need to carry on. He ushers in gladness into our hearts, though times can be hard.

Matthew 25:29,30

Matthew 25:29,30 (KJV)
29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 25:20,21

Matthew 25:20,21 (KJV)
20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
