Listen To God’s Counsel In Prayer

There is a reason why we are asked to pray often. This is because the Lord God is our deliverer. Coming to Him in prayer, opens our hearts to Him and demonstrates our ability to trust in Him for answers. And when we do this, He is able to do great things in our lives. We are led on a new walk and away from the evils of this world. As we call upon the Lord, He leads us away from temptation. As we seek the Lord often, Even our selfish ambitions are changed. Instead of desiring more for ourselves, we become selfless and kind towards one another. These are the characteristics that God puts in our hearts. This does happen when we are given over to God’s wisdom and then respond in favor to it. As Solomon said, 2“every purpose is established by counsel.” Everything that God can do in our lives has to do with His counsel for us. If you are humble and trust in God, your life be changed forever. Instead of giving yourself over to people of this world and trusting in them for all your answers, your heart and mind will be given over to God. We 2“meddle not with him that flattereth with his lips” for their much wisdom cannot replace the wisdom from God, as Solomon said. People have let us down many times but the love of God never fails. 1His mercy endures forever. Till the end of time, does the Lord God extend out His matchless arms of mercy to receive us as sinners. His love is for all and healing to our souls. We are guided on a path of righteousness through His great love.

I pray that you do receive Jesus into your heart today. Come to Him in prayer and allow the Lord to cleanse you of all your sins. Only He can help you turn away from them and then look to God in repentance. As Solomon said, 2“say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the Lord, and he shall save thee.” Please know that attempting to fix any of your wrongs on your own terms is useless. Only God can break the chains. Waiting on Him is your first steps to a new life. Your load can be alleviated today. No longer let the weight of sin and addiction get you down and depressed but give it all to God. Solomon spoke about this, when he said, 2“divers weights are an abomination unto the Lord; and a false balance is not good.” These weights that you carry are heavy and very burdensome. They are also evil in the sight of God. Please understand that the God of the heavens is pure and holy and the sins of this world cannot be in His presence. God is holy and unto Him, we come in faith, having been cleansed. As we confess our sins and receive Jesus into our lives, His light comes in and all the darkness is scattered. Where there was evil, good has been replaced. We no longer abide in sin but fight against it. We have become warriors and God’s light shines in our lives. This is because 2“the spirit of man is the candle of the Lord”, as Solomon said. We light up the world, through the love of Jesus. We look to God for 2“his throne is upholden by mercy,” as Solomon said. The Lord gives us meaning to our lives.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, thank You for receiving me in prayer. I believe in You Lord. Only You could do such a great work in my life. Thank You for shining down upon me and hearing my cries. All my burdens are lifted because of Your mercy. Though I was weak and could not turn from my sins, You had compassion upon me and took my hand and led me on to safety. What I was unable to do for myself, You have stepped in and did the rest. I am so grateful for Your forgiveness. Only You could see through the wickedness in my life and replace it with Your love. I am so grateful that my heart was open to receive You. I would never have known what true love is, if I had not made that choice. I would be stuck in my sins and terrified about death and judgement. Now Lord, I am so happy. Your counsel is what I need in life to go onward in faith. Your love is healing to my soul. You are everything to me Jesus. I am honored to serve You, my King. I can’t wait till the day that I can see You, before Your throne. I will be in tears, as I finally am before my Savior and my love. I love You with all my heart. You are my refuge and whom I trust. Amen.
