12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Today’s Prayer (12/21/2018)

Lord, I come to You in humility, this day. Just as You came into this world and was born in the lowest of circumstances, in a barn, I come to You, knowing that I am nothing without You. Nothing this world offers can substantiate the love that You give me. Only Your love can breathe life into my soul. I am sick of the tricks that this world plays on me and want Your peace to ever fill my life. I know that what the world offers does not last and all its happiness and joy fades away fast. Most of it has left me with heartache and shame. I do not wish to fall into a state of depression because of these things and need Your peace to come over me, that I might stand up strong. You give me strength that I don’t have otherwise. Each time I seek You for wisdom and knowledge, You answer my prayers and I have direction. Because You are in my life, I have a purpose. I am important because Your blood has covered me and I am redeemed. Because of Your mercy, all that shame has been turned into peace and love. Your grace has assured me that I am going places in this life and the next. And Lord, I do wish to always be with You. Even when I pass on from this life I wish to embrace You Lord and thank You in person for all You have done for me. I praise You and rejoice in Your holy Name. I love You so much. Amen.

Luke 1:46-48

Luke 1:46-48 (KJV)
46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

Today’s Prayer (12/20/2018)

Lord God, I am amazed at what the Holy Spirit can have us say and do. Even without the foreknowledge of things, You make it known unto us, if we are seeking Your hand. You fill our mouths with words to speak. Just as the Holy Spirit was poured into Elizabeth and Mary, at Your birth, I am grateful that You have poured into my life. When they were filled, they knew of Your coming and Your mission. And what amazes me is that they did not exalt themselves but You. It was always You that they lifted up. I know that when I lift myself up in pride, it is not Your hand. This helps me take a step back and look to You again in faith. I love Your presence Lord and want more of You. So come into my life with full force and fill me up, this day. There is nothing life You, God. You are holy and righteous. You are the chosen Messiah and King of the Jews. Your kingdom is not of this world and I am grateful to be a part of it. You are my King and my Savior. Only Your blood could cover my sins. For great was my wickedness but Your mercy has washed me clean. Only You, God, could do such a healing like this. Your miracles have shaped me into the person I am today. I am so happy and it is because of You. I owe all to You, Lord. I praise You and lift you up high. You are worthy and I honor You above all things. I love You Lord. Amen.

Mary Rejoiced In Her Son, Jesus

Ephesians 6:10,11

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Today’s Prayer (12/19/2018)

I am Yours, Lord. Have Your way inside of me. There is no other place I’d rather be, than to be in Your presence. You bring safety and security to my life. I am no longer walking with shame but courage that You bring to my life. I am ever able to do what is right, for You are my guide. It is when I do not do my part is when I make bad decisions that I regret. You are my safety net, but without You, I am left swimming upstream and have no way out. Lead me from temptation that I may be strong to resist. Build me up in Your armor that my faith will be grow stronger each day. You are my rock and my fortress, nothing can take me down with You in my life. All the darkness is scattered with Your light. The blindness has been taken from my eyes, that I may see the darkness of this world and no longer be a partaker of its wickedness. You have led me on a path of righteousness and I do not wish to quench the Spirit that is in me. So keep me sober and always looking to You in faith. And to those that are coming around to You now, may they be fully changed and brought into Your fold today. Help them find other Christians that will help them throughout their lives. But in all things, may they look to You for knowledge and guidance. Your words in the Bible are a lamp unto my feet and I know that anyone that truly reads Your words will find wisdom and know the way. And may they pray always and never allow the Spirit to leave them. It is priceless and something I never wish to lose. I love You Lord. You are the way and I will seek You all the days of my life. Amen.

The Lord Is My Light And I Love Him

If there was one thing I wish all the world could know is that Jesus can change their lives. They may think that they don’t need Him, for they are content with what they know and have, but they are wrong.

Today’s Prayer (12/18/2018)

Lord God, I am so grateful to have You in my life. I know that for many years that I chose to live apart from You and am sorry. I regret those days and am so grateful for Your mercy. Thank You for taking a wretched person, such as I, back into Your fold. I am amazed at Your great love and compassion for my life. I do not deserve the things You’ve done for me and still do for me. Surely, You could have given up on me a long time ago but instead You were patient and waited till the right time to move into my life. I may have wasted many years to serve You but the time I have with You now, I cherish. Thank You for coming into my life and delivering unto me the Spirit of God. You have filled me with a wild fire and now I want everyone to hear my story amd come to know You, Jesus. I pray that others do know that there is still hope for them. May they come to know that You are reaching out for them as You’ve reached for me, all these years. Just like I was, many people are stubborn but I still have hope in them. I know that their will come a time when many people will reach out to You, Lord. I just pray that they don’t lose that hope but continue in the faith. Our faith In You saves us. May I never lose that hope and trust in You, God. I love You. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (12/16/2018)

Oh Lord, I pray that You will begin to work in the lives of every person that says that they are Christian. May that actually mean something to them, that they may desire to live out their faith. Instill in them new desires, as their hearts are turned to You. May their addictions and old habits be broken, that You may teach them of Your ways. May they understand how dark this world is and how important it is to stay far away from certain things. We all need Your guidance and direction and welcome the Spirit. Without Your presence in our lives there would be so much darkness therein. I pray that You may move within us and show us what is right and what is wrong. May the things we like, be what You like. Break us free from any bad influences and help us walk with people of the same faith. May we be open to the things that You hate, that as You are offended by such things, that we will be too. I know that Your ways are righteous and therefore, I am ready to remove myself from every evil way. Have Your way in my life Lord. You are my God and I believe in You. I love You. Amen.

Things That Offend Us

So what are you going to do with your life? Are you going to continue in your sins or walk in the light of Christ?

Today’s Prayer (12/15/2018)

Lord, thank You for giving Your life for us. What You’ve done for mankind is the greatest act of kindness that anyone has ever made. I cherish every moment, just thinking of what you’ve done. What You’ve done has opened the doors for salvation, and for that I give You praise. My heart is Yours, Jesus. I come willing to Your feet, that You may continue to wash me of my sins each day. You are my King and I worship You. You give me the desires to love one another and to give what I have to those less fortunate. I may not be rich but I still find ways to have money after giving to those in need. Yes, Lord, You make this all possible and make a way so that people are blessed. I am so grateful to be given opportunities to serve You and to bring peace to others. Each time I go out of my comfort zone and rely on You fully to lead the way, things go so well. Even when I open my mouth, it is filled. I don’t have to rely on my own self, for You are there to help me. I pray that You will continue to use me to bless other people. Help me to always have a giving heart. And please instill this desire in the hearts of many. I pray that Your love will go forth and touch many souls. I trust in You Lord. I love You. Amen.

We Give Because God Gave His Life

Speaking of giving, when we give what we have to those that have not, then it is not only doing God’s work but also brings a special feeling in the heart of the giver.
