Isaiah Saw A Day Where People Praised The Lord

In Isaiah, chapter 12, Isaiah the prophet saw a day where there were believers in all the world that called upon the name of the Lord often and praised Him. What he saw was so praise worthy, for truly the Lord Jesus deserves our praise. In his vision, he saw God’s true followers that did not turn away from their King, but came unto Him for strength. These passages are a blessing to hear, for I truly believe that we are in the days spoke of by Isaiah. In this time, there are many people of all ages, races and tongues that love the Lord their God and serve Him. So let us get into the Word, and read it in Isaiah’s words, exactly what was prophesied. He said, 1“and in that day thou shalt say, O Lord, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.” Wow, this so describes my life and I am pretty sure many of you, as well. How is this? For I was unworthy for many years and God’s wrath was upon me, however, when I called upon His Name, the anger was gone and the only thing left was love and mercy. The Lord has also become my salvation. My trust is in my God, my Savior. I am not afraid for the Lord God is with me. He is my strength and the light that shines before me. If I sing, it is for the Lord. To Him, I give all the praise and honor. There is no greater joy than to be in the presence of God. I love the Lord. He has sent the Holy Spirit to guide me and I am safe.

Surely, what Isaiah saw speaks true to my life and the lives of many other Christians. For we were lost and broken inside but he has come and found us and made us whole again. Now Isaiah continued to speak about our day and it is glorious indeed. He said, 1“and in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth. Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.” What a vision he saw. I am sure that he was very happy about what he saw. For who wouldn’t be? This is a confirmation that in the end, people will not forget their God and continue in their worthy towards Him. More importantly, the people that truly love Jesus and walk in His ways have experienced a life change. This has brought them to see the Lord differently. He is no longer just a person they pray to on occasion, but their Father. So these Christians, as with me, exalt the name of the Lord. We lift Him up high. We know that it is because of Him that we have new life and therefore bless Him. We praise Him in our prayers, our worship, in our study of His Word and when talking with others. Sharing our love for the Lord brings us the greatest joy of all. We can’t help but give a shout of praise, unto Him, for these things. The Lord God is surely among those that love Him. He is their rock and their firm foundation. I pray that this message has touched your life. May you also come to know the Lord and truly begin to praise the Lord for His goodness and grace.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I call upon Your Name, for You are worthy of all our praise. You have come into my life, and rescued me from the fall. I was truly in over my heads and You pulled me out of the mess I was in. Because of Your compassion for my life, I am saved from a life of sin. Therefore, my heart is full of gratitude. Nothing could lift me out of the addictions I was in. Truly Satan had me bound. However, You heard my cries and scatter all the darkness that was within me and lead me away from temptation. Through Your blood, my sins are forgiven. You have heard my confessions and given me new life. Thank You for turning away Your wrath and, instead, unfolding upon me Your mercy. Though my flesh was weak, it is made strong in doing what is right, because You are my guide. There is no one I’d rather trust, but in You, God, for salvation. For I am not afraid anymore. All the shame has left and the things I’ve done are in the past. All are covered by Your blood. Therefore, I will sing unto the Lord. In blessings and honor do I praise You, my lord and King. In songs of praise, do I worship You. I rejoice in God, my Savior. I exalt Your Name in word and in deed. It is because of what You have done for me, that I want all the world to know that Jesus saves. Yes, Lord, only You have the power to deliver us from. This is what gives me hope for another day. I love You Lord. Amen.
