Romans 9:13-15

Romans 9:13-15 (KJV)
13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

  1. Brother, thank you for your dedication to the Lord and His call to make disciples of all nations.
I have recently rededicated my life to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Hallelujah! In my evangelism, I have run across difficulty in explaining, and even understanding myself, the concept of God’s omniscience. Verses like the one u provided in Romans 9 would indicate that God purposefully makes vessels for His wrath, making it difficult for me to grasp the concept of “free will”; yet God still judges our actions/choices, meaning there is obviously some “free will” regarding our actions.
Romans 9 is just a hard word for me to chew on right now, and I need to spend more time in prayer about, but thought I would hear a fellow brother in Christ’s take on it. God bless you and your ministry.
