Jesus Is My All, My Everything

Jesus is my all, my everything. I cannot go a day in this life without thinking of Him. Jesus is my God and has my heart, my mind, my strength and my soul. He died for me, now everything I am is His. Oh, how I love the Lord! It brings me so much joy and peace in my life just to have His presence with me. I am continually being guided by His hand, each time I seek His face, and am able to stay away from what is evil and cling to what is pure and holy. This way I am protected from the evil one and sis temptations don’t have any effect in my life. It is so gratifying to know that I am safe from the sins of this world, while I am within His arms. Though my own thoughts can get out of control fast, the moment that I return my focus on Jesus, those evil thoughts are removed immediately. In place of them are put thoughts of loving others as He loves them. Not to look at people to lust, but to desire to help them. This is when I say to God, 1“I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love,” (Psalm 119:113) and the whole atmosphere changes. It is God that gives me boldness to speak to others and to pray with them. I love it when I am led to people that have been waiting for the gospel message. These divine encounters come when I am led by God and not by myself. I can easily get in the way of His will for my life, but when I trust in Him, all things work out for the good. And best of all, the seeds that we plant will sprout over time in people’s lives. We may not see it happen first hand, but know that each experience you have with someone, that is God centered, He has already started a work inside of them. We just got to trust in the Lord and do as we are called to do in life, and He will do the rest.

Trusting in God opens the doors for many opportunities that would normally be shut for us. Because He is our guide, things will begin to change, even in a rapid pace, if we let the Holy Spirit in. It doesn’t have to be a slow walk with Christ, but a continual receiving and then doing as He says each day. So we first learn from God, through the Bible and through prayer, and then we respond favorably by obeying what God asks for us. This is a daily occurrence. We don’t just say that what we read in scripture is a nice passage, but instead, we think about it to the point of us then jumping at the opportunity to serve God. We obey Him because we love Him, and His Words are a lamp unto our feet. As David said, I also say to God, 1“thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” (Psalm 119:105) And so our journey begins, as we begin to read the Bible daily and to pray often. This might mean reading a few verses in the beginning, but then soon ending up with a chapter or two each day. The same can be said with prayer. We might start with prayer over food, until it grows to continually seeking God during the day and night. Both of these things are life changing events. Because we are putting God first in our lives, the Lord is then able to move within us. It is His continual presence, that we are then lead to want to obey His commandments. This then leads us to say, 1“O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.” (Psalm 119:97) I know that this is all true and any of you that have not experienced the joy that I feel now, just come to Jesus today and allow Him to change your life. This is exactly what you need to jump start your new life in Christ, for salvation.

Let us pray:
Lord God, I am truly honored to know You and to be called Your Son. The Spirit has taken over my life and led me to do things that I know I could not do on my own. For that reason, I give You thanks. You are so good to me God. Opportunities have come to me on a weekly basis because You love me so much and want to use me for Your kingdom. I love Your commands and to do Your will is amazing. There is so much joy in obeying You and allowing You to work through me. Because You have come inside of my life, I have had the opportunity to see many souls be saved. Thank You Jesus. What an amazing this it is to see Your miracles take place in my life and others. Truly, by seeking Your hand has led me to do things that I am not capable of on my own. This boldness is from You. This desire to share the gospel comes from You. This desire to fight against sin and to lift up Your Words in the Bible is because of You. I am not ashamed to tell anyone that I come in contact with that only You save, Jesus. You are my shield against the enemy and there is no other place I’d rather be then in Your hands. Thank You for leading me from temptation and to experience what true happiness is. I love You more than any earthly treasure. If I had nothing to my name in this world, but Your presence alone, oh how happy I would still be. I don’t need to be rich or have good things in life, but to know You, Jesus. You are my greatest delight. You have my heart, my mind, my strength, and all my soul Jesus. All the days of my life will I serve and honor You. Oh, how I love You Lord! And I will never let You down. You are my everything. Al I am is Yours. All the praise and honor to Your holy Name forever, Jesus. Amen.
