Jesus Is The Reason Why I Live

Jesus is the reason why I live. If I am happy, it is because His love is in me. It is not because of any other person, for their love comes and goes over time. Even worldly assets or pleasures that it contains do nothing for me, but cause me to be more greedy and selfish. It is because the Lord is carrying me forth in life that all I need to find happiness is His continued presence. Therefore, I love the Lord so much, and His blessings are worth more than all the money this world can offer me. And when things aren’t so great, the Lord has my back and brings me peace that I’ve been needing. Even as write now, I am in tears just thinking of His great love for me. I surely don’t deserve God’s love, kindness, patience, mercy, and forgiveness, especially when I slip up and do my own things. However, each time I come back to God in all my confessions, His arms are open wide to receive me. And so He is waiting for me to return each time and then unfolds His blessings upon me when I do. How great is His kindness and to experience His compassion for me. I am overwhelmed by everything He does for me. This is true love in the making, my friends. Truly, If you want true love in your life, then look no further than Jesus. He can do for you that no other person can. This starts when you give your life to Him. Therefore, if this is your desire, then confess your sins and that Jesus is Lord of your life. John also said this, 1“whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.” (1 John 4:15) Doing this, allows the Lord to live in us, which changes everything.

When to comes to love, John said, 1“we love him, because he first loved us.” (1 John 4:19) And because He loves us, the greatest joy of all is able to enter our lives and then change our outlook on life and things. He also said, 1“ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” (1 John 4:4) Therefore, it is good to make sure our company is God fearing and doesn’t dishonor Him. We must also learn and believe in 1“the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.” (1 John 4:16) Just learning this one fact about love changes how we live this life. It is because the world thinks they know what brings love in a relationship, but God knows better every time we come to Him instead. For in Him is where love that continues forth and is able to dwell in us forever. We don’t have to worry about becoming someone we shouldn’t, when the Holy Spirit is leading us to love as God loves us. Therefore, 1“herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.” (1 John 4:10,11) So if you desire to also have God’s love in Your life, then be more selfless towards people. Do good towards others while being led by the Holy Spirit. Then, you will learn to be a servant for God. This is when God’s love will begin to flow in your life and you won’t help but love everyone in the same way that He loves us. And so doing gives God praise and honor.

Let us pray:
Lord, I love and honor You above all else. There is no other person or thing that I would rather give my allegiance to, but to You alone, God. I trust in You, Lord, and not in what the world offers me. There are enough fake things and people that say they bring love, but really they only offer guilt and shame in the end. Therefore, I am done with all the lies of Satan and His temptations. Though my sins have been heavy for too many years of my life, I am happy now, since You have forgiven me and took away all my burdens. What a gracious God You are. I confess that You are the Son of God, Jesus. You came in the flesh and died for our sins, of which we were unable. Thank You for paying the penalty for our sins on the cross. I am also so grateful that You came into the world willingly, in order to save us from our sins. You knew that it would mean being killed and tortured, but You did it anyways because of Your great for us all. Surely, the Father loves us so much as to send His only begotten son to earth. I love You, God. All I want in life is more of You and less me. Lead me on the righteous path which leads to heaven. Help me be a light unto the gentiles, that more people will be saved in Your kingdom. Also, help me love others as You love them. I love Your Words in the Bible and I pray that they will be in my heart at all times. Then will I be ready to bear witness when You need me. Thank You, God, for everything. I praise and glorify Your Name. Amen.
