Today’s Prayer (01/23/2020)

Lord, I praise You this day and forever. You are holy and I love You with all my heart. I cry out to You now in honor and respect to my King. Oh, how I adore You, Lord. There is no one like You, God. My life is secure because You are in my life. I am strengthened each day because of Your presence. I don’t need the things of this world to be happy, but only You, God. Because You have allowed the Holy Spirit to be with me, my life and my family have been uplifted in Your love. All I need is You, Lord, and everything else not only makes sense but falls perfectly in my steps ahead of me. Truly, as I have sought after You, has my passions been satisfied. My desires have been fulfilled because you have blessed me. Thank You, Jesus. Thank You, Lord. Thank You, God. I am not worthy of Your love, Your respect, Your compassion, Your goodness, Your mercy, Your Grace, and Your kindness, but You still come to me. What a Savior I have. You have heard my cries and have comforted my soul. I am perfectly at peace, for in You I am able to rest. You are the anchor of my soul, who gives me life and light abundant. I don’t have to go out searching for love, for You showcase Your love to me every day that I have breath. Thank You for forgiving me and cleansing me through Your blood. The cross has given me another chance in life to be made clean. There is no more guilt or condemnation, but gladness and much joy. Thank You, Lord. I praise You, God. I love You. Amen.

Revelation 4:10,11

Revelation 4:10,11 (KJV)
10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Today’s Prayer (01/22/2020)

Oh Lord, it is so good just to lift my hands up in praise and worship Your great Name. There are even times that all I want to do is move around while crying out to You in prayer. Some times when a worship song comes on, I just want to dance before You, for You deserve all that I am within me. I am saved because You died for me on the cross. I am so blessed because the Savior of the world decided to dine with me. My life is changed because You are with me now. I can call upon Your Name and know that You will be there to answer me. There is no doubt in my mind that there are great and mighty things in store for my life, because I seek You often, even in my thoughts. Thank You so much for speaking life inside of my lost soul. Because the Holy Spirit is with me now, I am made alive in You. There is no holding back the things I am able to do now because You have me by the hand. Even when I was in sin, You heard my cries and carried me on your shoulders to safety. I am no longer weak but made strong in You. I can do all things, because You strengthen me in Your Word, in prayer, in worship, and in service to You. Thank You, Lord. I pledge my whole life to serve You now and forever. Come and make a place for me not only in heaven but inside of me at all times. With Your shield, the enemy has no place in my life. I can walk in Your love and not have to worry about sin and doubt entering my life. You have paid it all for me. Now, I just need You evermore. I love You, Lord. All the praise and glory to Your great Name. I honor You not only with my words but in my actions. Use me for Your kingdom. I honor You. Amen.

2 Samuel 6:14,15

2 Samuel 6:14,15 (KJV)
14 And David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.
15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.

David Danced Before The Lord

Now, if you thought that David stopped dancing and worshiping God after all this happened with the ark of the covenant, then you are mistaken.

Today’s Prayer (01/21/2020)

Oh Lord, thank You for this life. Thank You for helping me, though I don’t always deserve it. You have not left me comfortless, but have poured upon my life the Holy Spirit. Therefore, if I am being led, it is by Your hand and not my own. I once lived apart from Your love, but it was never something that satisfied my soul like it is now. In all my sins was I more pained because of the guilt that was weighing upon my life. I may have liked it in the time that I looked at women to lust, but then felt awful in my heart later on about it. Even the pornography I looked at, ate at my soul afterward while making me feel so dirty inside. I know that I was not acting the way I should have, especially when I went so far, like David did, and had an affair with another woman. This really took me down the road of depression and my soul was heavy with Your wrath. Thank You for not striking me down at that time in my life, while allowing me to surrender myself to you. I may not have known You then, but I am grateful that You have allowed me to come unto You, that I may know You now. The day I pleaded for Your forgiveness, not knowing that You would respond favorably, is when You did come. While in Your presence, I felt peace like never before. It was like You had Your arms around me and never wanted to let me go. Oh, thank You, God. That day, Your mercy fell upon me and I was yours. Thank You for Your forgiveness and grace. I was once living a life of sin, but all this has changed since You have transformed my life. I have been cleansed by Your blood and am so grateful. You are my Savior and my greatest joy of all. I love an honor You with my whole heart. All the praise and glory to Your mighty Name, Jesus. Amen.

2 Samuel 5:17-19

2 Samuel 5:17-19 (KJV)
17 But when the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines came up to seek David; and David heard of it, and went down to the hold.
18 The Philistines also came and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
19 And David enquired of the Lord, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the Lord said unto David, Go up: for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into thine hand.

David’s Wives And Concubines

We are to help those in need, not do harm to them. Also, as Christians, we are to live moral lives in the sight of God. God hates pornography, fornication, and adultery.

Today’s Prayer (01/20/2020)

Oh Lord, I pray for every person that has hurt me. These people do not know what they are doing, or else they would repent and allow Your love to carry themselves in this life. People would not be calling me and other people names if they knew what this was really doing to us. They would not be out starting a fight, but understand that the person’s life that they are harming is relied on by their family heavily, in order to be a good father or mother to their children. Truly, making other people feel bad is not what You have ever intended people to act like. Instead, they act out in their selfish ways, and the innocent are affected wrongfully. And though these people are wicked, because of their sins, I plead, Lord, that You will help me love such people. Even while they are hurting me or someone else I love, will I tell them about You and how You died for their sins on the cross. That through following You, they can be saved. You do have the power to cleanse us from all our sins. No matter what we have done in this life, there is still forgiveness and mercy. If these people that carry anger in their hearts could just experience what it means to be loved by You, then all this would be stopped. They would look to You in faith, as we have Lord. So I pray for people that are hurting inside, while causing harm upon others, will come to the feet of Your cross. May your brothers and sisters in the faith also show continued love to their enemies. I love You, God. You mean everything to me. Amen.

Matthew 5:38,39

Matthew 5:38,39 (KJV)
38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

Today’s Prayer (01/19/2020)

Oh Lord, I love You. Doing Your will means more to me than being fulfilled in the flesh. I am not willing to have myself be scarred by the lusts of this world any longer. It is not worth being pained by the sins I have committed and the lives I have then affected wrongfully. I am sorry for the life I once led, while in my sexual sins. Back before I knew You I was engrossed with pornography and even an adulterous affair. And when it dawned on me how far I had fallen, I saw myself as a wretched sinner. Surely, You could have struck me dead in that time of my life, while I would have been destined to hell, but You showed me mercy and love. In my sins, I called upon Your Name and You rescued me. Though what I had done had caused many people to distrust me, You never gave up on me. I may not have had the strength to live any differently, but You still put Your Spirit in me. Now I have new desires and a willingness to serve You. Thank You, Jesus. It is because of what You have done for my life that my life is now different. Because You died for my sins and I have made You the Lord of my life, I am cleansed from all my sins. You have shown me compassion while forgiving me. I never knew what love was really like until You came down and opened the door to me in Your Father’s house above. I was the prodigal son, but have returned, my Lord. Thank You, God. I never wanted to leave You, but the world had a stronghold on my life. So I praise You now and forever. I glorify in Your holy Name. My soul sings hallelujah, for my Savior has come to restore my life into the greatest joy of all. I love You, Lord. Amen.

Matthew 5:32

Matthew 5:32 (KJV)
32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

David Had Children From Six Wives

Since the beginning of time, God said, “therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” (Genesis 2:24)

Today’s Prayer (01/18/2020)

Lord, it is my prayer that people will start reading the Bible for themselves. This way they will begin to know Your truths in Your Word, and no longer be deceived by the doctrines of men. I am very worried that too many people that say they are Christian are actually believing in false doctrines and don’t even realize it. It would be very sad to see these people go before You in judgment one day, not realizing that they were walking on the path of destruction when they died. This would be devastating, God. And it is not my wish that anyone should perish in their unbelief, but to know You and to find wisdom and understanding from the Bible. So wake people up from all religions, so that people will decide for themselves to know Your truth. Then, can You pour into them the Holy Spirit, that they may be led to know the truth from above. Truly, it is taught in scripture that Mary needed a Savior and therefore magnified the Lord. So we ought to also worship You, oh Lord, and not Mary. It is also taught that Mary was not always a virgin, but had her own family. So people that pray to the virgin May are very off track and need to repent. For surely, this is idolatry and is uncalled for in Your Kingdom, oh Lord. Convict such people to throw out there rosary beads. To break into pieces their idols of Mary and the Saints. Surely, we cannot walk in Your presence if we continue to do things of the flesh. So this day, I promise to allow You to cast out of my life anything that is contrary to You. And my prayer is that people in the Catholic faith will do the same. That they will begin to read the Bible daily, pray often, and come to You, as their personal Savior. I love You, Lord. Amen.

Matthew 13:54-56

Matthew 13:54-56 (KJV)
54 And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?
55 Is not this the carpenter’s son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?

Mary Was Not Always A Virgin

People may try to dispute the fact that Mary had her own children and say that those that do the will of the Father are called into His family, which is true.

Today’s Prayer (01/17/2020)

Lord, I pray that my thoughts will always be for You. That You will continue to lead me by the hand, and that the enemy will not overpower me. I do not wish to make the wrong decisions in life, which will only draw me away from Your presence. Doing this has only caused me to be in more pain and anguish than I desire. It also causes me to be full of guilt, because of my sins. Therefore, I know that in these times I have let You down and I am sorry. It is not my intention to go the opposite way in life but to be on Your righteous path. So I ask that You will forgive me, and not allow my flesh to fall down into sin because it is weak. You are my strong tower and my deliver, so I know that You can give me the strength to overcome sin, that I may no longer walk in it. And I come to You for full deliverance from the enemy. I need You in my life, Lord. Come and make a place in my heart, and in my mind, and in my soul. I love You, and I will show this through my obedience to You now. My ways are filthy, but if You are leading me, then they are righteous. Lord, I don’t only wish to be fulfilled in Your love, but also show Your great love to everyone I meet. Cause me to be filled with the Holy Spirit, that Your kindness, gentleness, meekness, love, compassion, mercy, and patience will be shown towards all people. No person will be excluded, for every wall is torn down with Your love in my life. Every person that has wronged me is now forgiven, and hardships are mended because You are working in me. I trust in You, Lord. I love You, God. I give You praise and worship You now. Amen.

2 Samuel 2:1-4

2 Samuel 2:1-4 (KJV)
1 And it came to pass after this, that David enquired of the Lord, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And the Lord said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.
2 So David went up thither, and his two wives also, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail Nabal’s wife the Carmelite.
3 And his men that were with him did David bring up, every man with his household: and they dwelt in the cities of Hebron.
4 And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, That the men of Jabeshgilead were they that buried Saul.

Go Where God Calls You

The story continues with David finding out who buried Saul and blessed the Lord for their kindness.

Today’s Prayer (01/16/2020)

Oh Lord, I pray that our hearts will be in the right place with You at all times. That we will not allow there to be any walls built up in our lives but allow You to tear them all down. And if it means that we ought to start showing more kindness towards others, put a spark inside of us, that we may do this. Every person in our lives deserves to hear that they are loved, that they are forgiven, that we are sorry for our actions, and how much we respect them because of all they do. Sure, it is fine to think of al the good things that people have done after a person dies, and this makes sense, but it makes more sense to start acting this way while that person still has breath. So Lord put inside of us a Spirit of forgiveness, kindness, compassion, longsuffering, gentleness, patience, and love. Shine down upon our lives Your light, that every person we encounter will have this same Spirit flow into their lives also. It is my desire that people will be touched by Your mighty hand each time that they have the opportunity to be around me. I don’t want it to ever be a hindrance upon people, but always a blessing. Just as You show us such love and respect that we don’t deserve, do I hope and pray that these same qualities will become a part of my everyday life and for all people that call themselves Christian. It is truly an honor to know You, Jesus. This is why I proclaim that I am Christian, for You are inside of me, guiding me by the hand. I am only strong because You have carried me forth in this life. I love You, Lord. Thank You for everything. All the praise and honor to Your Name, Jesus. Amen.

2 Samuel 1:23-25

2 Samuel 1:23-25 (KJV)
23 Saul and Jonathan were lovely and pleasant in their lives, and in their death they were not divided: they were swifter than eagles, they were stronger than lions.
24 Ye daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, who clothed you in scarlet, with other delights, who put on ornaments of gold upon your apparel.
25 How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle! O Jonathan, thou wast slain in thine high places.
