The King James Version Bible

From 1611 till around 1900, all Christian churches, outside the of Catholic Religion, used the King James Version (KJV) Bible. It was not because there wasn’t another translation available, but because they trusted in it, for it is from God Himself. People believed that those that translated the KJV Bible were inspired by God and it was His purpose for it to get into the hands of all people and all nations. And this happened with the reformation of the church, where these Bibles were distributed in missionary efforts all around the world. Even now we have dead sea scrolls that speak of the validity of this translation. So why are people and most churches no longer using the KJV Bible? Well, you ought to wonder who would want to change things up, while having people read something different. That is Satan of course. Any other translation that is not Word for Word, like the KJV, is corrupt and missing important verses. They have either paraphrased certain verses or added their own thoughts to them. Many of the Thought-For-Thought translations include the HCSB, NRSV, NAB, NJB, NIV, TNIV, NCV Bible. Where the Paraphrased Bibles are most notably the JST, NLT, NIRV, GNT, CEV, TLB and the MSG Bible. These types of translations are corrupting God’s Word and should never be read or studied. Where the ESV and the NASB are Vatican based Bibles with Catholic influences, and should not be trusted as well, because that church is corrupt in idolatry. It doesn’t matter if they claim that these Bibles are Word-For-Word Translations. Some other Bibles like the NKJV say they are Word-For-Word, but make it easier to read, but really the verses have changed dramatically. So the question is, if the KJV Bible translation was inspired by God, why consider using anything else?

Did God ever say that His Word would be corrupted or preserved from generation to generation? If you’ve read the Bible, then you would know that David said, 1“the words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.” (Psalm 12:6,7) And this is exactly what God did with the KJV Bible. He has preserved it since 1611, however, Satan has influenced different people to create other translations of the Bible, in order to confuse and derail people from the faith. But does the Bible say to not change it? Yesm it does, in many places. More specifically Solomon said, 2“every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” (Proverbs 30:5,6) Therefore, only liars and people that want to deceive others would add or remove things from God’s Word, which these other translations do. Now, we must realize that the Bible was written as 3“holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” (2 Peter 1:21) When this sinks in, we will strive to keep it sacred and not change it. So my question to you is, do you use the KJV Bible, and if not, will you begin to? And if you are a pastor, will you also consider using the KJV Bible in your church? Be a person that holds the Bible up with high esteem and not a person who is willing to use a corrupted Bible to get your point across. It is hard to see most churches not be willing to use the KJV Bible. They just refuse for some reason or not, out of the hardness of their hearts. We are to submit ourselves to God and do His will, and not our own. This means using His preserved KJV Bible and not anything else.

Below is a good picture of the different types of Bible Translations. But remember what I said about the KJV Bible. Just because other translations claim to be Word-For-Word Bible translations, it doesn’t mean they are, because of what has already been discussed above.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that people will see the importance of reading not only the Bible but a translation that You have preserved over time. This version I know for a fact is the King James Version Bible. You called different men of God in 1611 for that amazing translation, which has made it through the test of time. People have tried to corrupt the Bible with other translations, but they are easily found out when people simply go back and start reading the KJV Bible again. There is nothing I’d rather rely on than Your Word, of which You have preserved from generation to generation. Thy Word is pure and anybody who defiles it is a liar. And what is sad is that it is hard to still find a good church that uses Your preserved KJV Bible anymore. I like certain churches that I have attended, but it always aches me from the inside out when I see the pastor using a different translation. I try to follow along with what is being taught in scripture, but words and phrases are so different that it gets confusing. And Lord, I know that You never meant the Bible to be confusing, but clear for the mind to understand. For this reason, I love to study the KJV Bible on my own time each day. I don’t have to worry about other people’s translations getting in the way and confusing me anymore. Lord, if pastors are reading this prayer, convict them of their sins, if they have also given up on using the KJV Bible. May they no longer put it down, but lift it up and use it in their church also. It is a lie from Satan to say that it is hard to read and understand. If people would just give Your Word a chance, then it would become a light unto their path. Thank You, Lord, for showing me this truth. I am so much happier since I switched to using the KJV Bible. Every word and verse has come to life. You have opened my eyes that I might see. Thank You. I love You, Lord. Amen.

2 Surely I am more brutish than any man, and have not the understanding of a man.
3 I neither learned wisdom, nor have the knowledge of the holy.
4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?
5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

8 Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:
9 Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the Lord? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.
10 Accuse not a servant unto his master, lest he curse thee, and thou be found guilty.

15 The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough:
16 The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the fire that saith not, It is enough.
17 The eye that mocketh at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.
18 There be three things which are too wonderful for me, yea, four which I know not:
19 The way of an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a rock; the way of a ship in the midst of the sea; and the way of a man with a maid.

31 A greyhound; an he goat also; and a king, against whom there is no rising up.
32 If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thine hand upon thy mouth.
33 Surely the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth forth strife.
2 Peter 1
32 Peter 1 (KJV)
1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
13 Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;
14 Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.
15 Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.
16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
