Street Evangelizing: 05/23/2020

Today was one of the most beautiful and amazing days to witness on the streets. For the first two hours, I was out on my own preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to those that passed by. I also encouraged those that said they were Christians to walk in the light of Jesus, that they may also be a light to those around them. To open their mouths and not be shy about telling people about Jesus. ¹We are to shine our light as Jesus said and not put it under a bushel. Many people heard the gospel and I was able to speak to different individuals as well. One such man was Canon, who had went astray but was willing to come back. ²So I shared with him about the parable of the prodigal son and he was encouraged to know that God was so gracious enough to allow Him back. He was even more amazed to know that everything was forgiven and God gave him the best robe and made him a feast. His eyes lit up when I told him this. I asked if he wanted to pray with me, but he had to get back to work. Then, I was able to meet up with Jaxlyn for the last half of my time witnessing on the streets. I had prayed right before that, that God would lead us to people who receive salvation and God did just that. It didn’t take us long after walking the streets that we found many kids riding bikes and others who were watching and having fun also. It was these individuals that God told me to speak to. So I started to tell them also the good news of Jesus Christ and His gospel message of the cross and resurrection. That because He died for our sins, we can be forgiven. It is just up to us to give our lives over to Him in prayer. One person said that he needed a sign from God and we told him that it is better to believe than to see anything. However, because God was pointing me to share my healing encounters I did this, knowing in the Spirit that it was just this that he wanted to hear. So I shared with him and others who began to form in droves around us how a lady with Stage 4 cancer was healed, along with a man that was deaf. That it was God that healed them, and I was only his vessel to pray for them.

Our time with these young kids continued and they had many questions, of which we answered the best we could with our knowledge of the Bible and what the Holy Spirit was wanting to share with them as well. However, as we spoke a young man that had heard my healing encounters asking me if I would for healing over him. He said he had a heart condition and he didn’t know how long he had to live. So I asked him if he believed in God and that God would heal him. He said yes, so I prayed, and immediately the presence of God was over us. In the Name of Jesus did I pray for healing both body and soul. It was after the prayer that he said he was feeling much better. After the prayer ended I asked the people who witnessed that if they wanted to accept Jesus into their hearts. Of which at least seven girls and two guys said yes. So we got into a circle and I led them in a prayer for salvation. A similar prayer I will leave at the end of this message for you to pray as well. As for the people who heard me praying, they all repeated after me that they were a sinner, and needed Jesus to come into their lives. That He is Lord and to please forgive them. Many other things did we pray also. All I can say is that there was a rush of the Holy Ghost that filled us all as we cried out to God, which was so wonderful. Many people around us were also fixated on what we were doing. Then, as the prayer ended, each one of them took a breath and said, “wow”, that was amazing. I then asked them all and the people around me who wanted Bible, tracks, devotional cards, and gospels of John handouts, and everyone one of them was interested. The sad thing is that I did not have enough Bibles for them all. This was why we came out, for the this one encounter alone. Now, the day ended as we talked with a dear family who loved the Lord so much that they wanted tracks, devotional cards, and Bible to pass out to people. We walked with them to my car, where we were able to give them what we needed. They were so excited. Praise be to God for this day. ²Surely the angels are rejoicing because of all that was said and done.

Sinners Prayer:
God, I am sorry. I have done wrong things and openly confess them to You now. Please forgive me. Have mercy for my soul. I accept You as Lord of my life. Lead me from hear on out. Help me to live the life that You have prepared for me. I give You my life and my soul for You to do a work in me now. I am ready and willing to allow You to change my life, that I may be conformed to Your ways. Lead me from temptation all my days. Cleanse me of all my sins. I will seek You now from here on out. Only through Your Name, Jesus, can I be saved. You are my Savior and I trust in You. From now and till the end of time will I seek You. I give You glory and praise. Amen.

Luke 15

1 Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.
2 And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.
3 And he spake this parable unto them, saying,
4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
8 Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?
9 And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.
10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
11 And he said, A certain man had two sons:
12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

29 And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
30 But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.

32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.
