God Created The Stars And Constellations In Space

Have you ever looked at the sky and wondered why certain stars and constellations in our beautiful sky are named the way they are? Well, we know that one star, a star cluster, and a constellation/nebula all come from the book of Job, which is in the Bible. They are called, 1“Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades.” (Job 9:9). “Arcturus is a red giant star in the Northern Hemisphere of Earth’s sky and the brightest star in the constellation Boötes (the herdsman). Arcturus is also among the brightest stars that can be seen from Earth.” (space.com) “Orion is a prominent constellation located on the celestial equator and visible throughout the world. It is one of the most conspicuous and recognizable constellations in the night sky.” (wikipedia.org) “Pleiades (ˈpliːədiːz/,ˈplaɪədiːz), also known as the Seven Sisters and Messier 45, are an open star cluster containing middle-aged, hot B-type stars in the north-west of the constellation Taurus. It is among the star clusters nearest to Earth and is the cluster most obvious to the naked eye in the night sky.” (wikipedia.org) Job 9, speaks of God creating these stars and constellations in the heavens, not a big bang like scientists would like you to believe in. We will be going over these verses in detail, but did you know that “the Book of Job is estimated to have been written in the time of the Patriarchs, between 1900 and 1700 B.C.” (beliefnet.com) This makes the book of Job almost four thousand years old. Therefore, what we have described here in scripture should be looked at by scientists around the globe who desire to know truth. Now, let us read the verses in Job 9 and come to a conclusion who really created the stars and constellations in space.

Everything I just mentioned above, concerning the book of Job, is all true. For that reason, we will read these verses in detail in chapter 9. It reads, starting with verse 1, 1“then Job answered and said, I know it is so of a truth: but how should man be just with God? If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand. He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against him, and hath prospered? Which removeth the mountains, and they know not: which overturneth them in his anger. Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble. Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars. Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea. Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south. Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number. Lo, he goeth by me, and I see him not: he passeth on also, but I perceive him not. Behold, he taketh away, who can hinder him? who will say unto him, What doest thou?” (Job 9:1-12) It is God who is able to reshape the mountains through earthquakes. He commands the sun to rise at certain times and it obeys. He hides the stars during the day, but allows us to see them again at night. The Lord made the great red giant star known as Arcturus. He made the Orion constellation. He made the Pleiades star cluster. It is God who has done these great things. His wonders are without number. He is our creator and the Lord God Almighty. He is also mighty to save anyone that calls upon the name of Jesus. His mercy is extended towards anyone who will believe in and follow Him.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, thank You for Your beautiful creation. I am amazed at the wonders I see in space and know that it was all done by Your mighty hand. Scientists all around the world are slowly identifying the different stars and constellations and thinking they know the reason for them, where it was always known from the beginning. You are our creator of all things heaven and earth. The glorious and magnificent things that we cannot comprehend has life because of You, our maker. When You call out, all things that are created obey Your voice, except for humans. We are formed in Your image, oh Lord, and I am so grateful. Just looking in the sky is beauty without any comprehension. The mountains on the earth shake before Your face. Everything that was formed on earth is subservient to You. Only we as humans are disobedient to our maker when You only have good things in store for us. I will never comprehend the reasons why there is so much anger and hostility in this world, when Your love is able to usher in peace and joy into our hearts. You are able to change the atmosphere if we would just look to You in faith. Surely, You know our thoughts and our intentions. You can see who is really looking to You in faith and who is not. So many souls are lost and on the road to destruction, but there is still hope for them. I pray that the Holy Spirit will convict these people of their sins, that they will repent and turn to You today. Lead them to people who truly love You and live for You also. Then, will they see a good example of the faith and run to You also, Jesus. Thank You, Lord. You are the maker and Lord of my soul. I am Yours, dear creator and God of all. Take me into Your mighty arms and lead me into Your light, even all my days. I love You. Amen.
