Mormons Believe In A Heavenly Mother

A common belief found in many cults is the belief in a Heavenly Mother. And among those cults in our society, Mormonism is one of them that agrees with this false theology. They even state the following on their official website, “the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teaches that all human beings, male and female, are beloved spirit children of heavenly parents, a Heavenly Father and a Heavenly Mother. This understanding is rooted in scriptural and prophetic teachings about the nature of God, our relationship to Deity, and the godly potential of men and women. The doctrine of a Heavenly Mother is a cherished and distinctive belief among Latter-day Saints.” “Subsequent Church leaders have affirmed the existence of a Mother in Heaven.” “Prophets have taught that our heavenly parents work together for the salvation of the human family. ” Wow, oh wow! It is hard to believe that a church so large at the “Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints” would believe this type of nonsense. How is it that they add unto their beliefs something that isn’t even found in the Bible? And teaching that salvation comes through both the Father and His Wife in heaven is blasphemy to Jesus, who really saves.

Paul says it clearly that salvation only comes through Jesus. It is written, “be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:10-12) It is made crystal clear in God’s Word that Jesus was sent into the world, that we might be saved. Never does it mention a heavenly mother, of which Mormons, the World Mission Society Church of God, and others are now teaching. And instead, we learn of the trinity that only mentions the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, which are one God. “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” (1 John 5:7,8) My friends, please do not associate with churches that have extra-biblical beliefs like a heavenly mother. Instead, start reading the Bible with Matthew 1 as a child, and God will open your eyes to the truth.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that people will begin to read the Bible for themselves. That they will no longer be tied down to the belief system of the church they are attending, but come to know if what they have been taught over the years is true or not. It is sad to know of all the many people who are on the pathway of destruction and aren’t even aware of this. However, just to be naïve about something, does not excuse these people for what they think they know and practice now. Therefore, I pray that people will become thinkers for themselves, outside their church. That this thinking will come from You and not other people’s influences. If people would learn to really put on Your armor, then there would not be any misuse of Your teachings in scripture, for the Holy Spirit would be leading them in the truth, instead of men. This is my prayer that people will come out of the different cults of our society today. That they will be drawn to You because of their newfound daily study in the Bible and prayer. There is true wisdom and knowledge from You alone, God, not from a person. I trust in You, Lord. I love You. Amen.
