Why I Live

It is better to live our lives for Jesus, then unto ourselves. With the help of God we can become selfless, kind, and loving.

Today’s Prayer (10/07/2020)

Oh Lord, I pray that people will begin to see how far they have strayed from You. That they will finally see how conforming to this world only blasphemes Your holy Name. That it breaks Your heart when we fall into sin. If people just read the Bible, they would know right away where they stand with You. That they are not a friend to You, but a friend to this world and repent. We are getting very close to Halloween and many of these so-called Christians have their wicked and vial decorations outside of their houses. It is so disturbing to come home from work and to have to drive past all of these decorated houses in my neighborhood. It makes me want to scream, but I know that I cannot make a scene and have it be helpful to them. Instead, I will go forth and witness to them when the time is right. Even in Spirit and truth will I go forth and talk to different people. May there be love and respect for all these people. I wish that they would see how far they have fallen, but only You can do this. Only by way of the Holy Spirit can people be drawn out of the ways of this world and into Your awesome presence. So give me words to speak to these people. Show them dreams and visions that will also lead them out of this evil practice. You are my God and I worship You. I just pray that more people will desire to follow You the whole year long. There should have never been a month set apart for Halloween, but Satan has put his clutches into people. And now it appears to be good, where it is so wicked. Lord, open people’s eyes to see the evils in Halloween and no longer participate in it again. Give them clean hands and wash them of all these sins and others as well. I believe in You, Jesus. I love You more than anything this world offers me, God. Amen.

3 John 1:11

3 John 1:11 (KJV)
11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

Today’s Prayer (10/06/2020)

Thank You, Lord, for this beautiful trip to Utah. It was so amazing to go to Salt Lake City, Provo, and Ogden, these last five days. At these different Mormon Temple locations, many people heard the good news of the gospel and also accepted prayer. You also led many of them to rethink their beliefs and to go home to study the Bible more. Praise God. I just pray that many of these people who listened to Your gospel message will also surrender to You fully. So many of the Mormons we talked to were convicted by the Holy Spirit and now it is up to them to come out of their false beliefs and their sinful nature, while coming unto You instead. I love You, Lord, with all my heart, mind, and strength. Nothing I once knew means anything if it goes against Your perfect will. Thank You for conforming my fleshly desires into Your will. I may not be perfect, but You have placed me on Your righteous path and I am no longer on the pathway to hell. And because You set me free, I know that You are able to set the people free in Utah. Open up their eyes to see. And not only them but all the Mormons throughout the globe. Draw them all unto Yourself and begin to do a mighty work in their lives. It is my desire that they will start thinking clearly for themselves and no longer be led by what their false prophets and other people are telling them. Our belief system does not matter in the end, if it goes against You. So help every Mormon to realize this, even if their prophets have told them that certain beliefs are because of modern-day revelations. Nothing will ever go against Your Word and find favor in Your sight. I love You, Lord. May Your ways continue to be my ways. Amen.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 (KJV)
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Utah Mission Trip (10/06/20)

This, being the last day in Utah, I give God thanks for this trip and for our conversation with a homeless man, near the Ogden Temple.

Utah Mission Trip (10/05/20)

God guided our walk to talk with two young women at the Provo Temple. The discussions from the Holy Spirit and were amazing.

Today’s Prayer (10/01/2020)

Oh Lord, I love You so much. You the reason why I live my life. I have a purpose because of Your compassion. There is mercy, because You forgave me of my sins and my false beliefs. Thank You, Jesus. Since I was baptized in 2015 all I’ve wanted to do is tell people about You, Jesus. I was not afraid anymore, for You were now with me. Thank You for pouring the Holy Spirit into me that day. I have not been the same since. It is because You love me so much is that I was chastened. You saw the things that needed to be removed from my life like the TV shows I watch, music I listen to, video games, and other bad habits. And now I have plenty of time to seek You in Bible study, prayer, and witnessing on the streets. Surely, I have had some amazing times while in Your harvest and I give You praise. I am also amazed how You gave me eyes to see people with respect. So when a beautiful lady comes up to me or I see her, I am able to not lust upon her. Wow! That is so awesome, God. Only You could break the chains of addiction in my life. Even the bondage of pornography. That secret sin almost ruined my marriage and I am so grateful for setting me free from it. Lord, You have done many great things in and through me. Thank You! If there is selflessness in my heart towards others now, it is because you are there. I am nothing without You. I cannot accomplish anything good in Your sight unless You are with me. Therefore, I need the Holy Spirit with me at all time, in order to lead people to You. So continue to use me for Your glory. I love You. Amen.

Mark 12:30,31

Mark 12:30,31 (KJV)
30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Why I Write

There is a reason why I write daily devotionals. It is because of my love for Jesus and my neighbor. I want to draw people to Him.
