Today’s Prayer (12/23/2020)

Oh Lord, I glorify Your Name and love to think upon You. Thank You for Your birth and Your death on the cross. Because You came into the world, there is light and light abundant. Because You died for our sins on the cross, there is forgiveness and mercy. Yes, God, You brought into this world grace, which we are so grateful for. Thank You for saving a wretch like me, God. I would not be delivered from all my sins if You had not done paid the price for me. For this reason, I give You thanks and glorify You, God, in heaven. You deserve the glory for everything good that happens in my life. Even the hard and trying things that happen to me and my family, I give You thanks still. In these difficult times, there is a peace that is beyond understanding. I may not able to overcome the trials I face on my own, but You make it so much more bearable and often give me ways out. It sure is wonderful to have You in my life. All my burdens are made light. You take all my tears and wipe them away. Even patience do You give that I so much needed. I may have been burdened in my sorrows, but all this is in the past when Your love comes over me. I surely don’t deserve what You do for me, but I am sure grateful that You do care for me. Who am I when it comes to the millions of people on earth? This I ask, but still, my meager life is vital in Your plan of salvation. You love me the same way as anyone else. Thank You, Lord. Your love is what has changed my life. I love You so much. Amen.

John 1:9-12

John 1:9-12 (KJV)
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Today’s Prayer (12/22/2020)

Oh Lord, I pray that people will be drawn to know You like I and millions of others have. It is a blessing to be safe in Your arms and not to have to worry about the enemy having His way in my life. You are the light that guides me and I give You praise and honor, this day and forever. Nothing else can satisfy my soul like You have and will continue to do so. I wish I could see You in person and spend my time with You forevermore, but I know that this time will come soon enough. I just pray that I will be found waiting on You and doing what You say when You do come. I am Yours and I pray that you will continually know this through my everyday actions. You are my Shepherd, Jesus. Wherever You will call me to, I will go. I will follow You. There is nothing else I’d rather do than to be led by Your hand. Thank You for rescuing me. You have made known Your kindness and grace upon me and I am so grateful. Only You could look past my sins and see the potential that was left in my life. I knew that I could not do much to come out of the darkness I was in, but knew that You could help me. And I am grateful that You did hear my prayers. In my tears did You come and bring peace to my soul. I was hungry and thirsty for something greater in this life and You delivered. It is awesome to know that I do not have to worry about constant guilt or shame anymore, for with You in my life I am stronger to resist temptation. Your mercy does endure forever. Thank You, Jesus. I love You much. Until we talk again. Amen.

Luke 1:44-46

Luke 1:46,47 (KJV)
44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.
45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.
46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,

Today’s Prayer (12/21/2020)

Lord Jesus, we come before You this day in honor and praise. We would not be where we are today if You had not come into our lives. Thank You, God. We extol You. You deserve the glory! There is nothing we deserve for what we do, but only You, Lord. We give You the glory and the praise. Don’t allow us to fall victim to Satan, but keep us in Your abundant and marvelous light. We don’t wish to sin against You any longer, but to have You keep us secure on Your holy and upright path. And even now do we say to You, “have Your way in our lives. Be it unto us according to Your will.” We are stronger with You in our lives but are so weak when we neglect to seek Your hand. However, we no longer wish to sin against You, God. Take us up in Your arms and never let us escape You again. Cast out every wicked thing in our lives that still remains. Break those barriers of unforgiveness and guilt and shame. If you have forgiven us, help us also to forgive ourselves and others. We know how grateful we are to have Your mercy in our lives and we ask that Your mercy will flow deep in our lives and into other people’s lives also. And help us to continue to remember You at all times and in all places. This way You can be near to us, and we can walk faithfully in Your sight. It doesn’t matter what the world thinks. We love You, God, and are not ashamed to tell others about You, also, no matter the consequences. Amen.

Luke 1:30-32

Luke 1:30-32 (KJV)
30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

Matthew 2:9-11

Matthew 2:9-11 (KJV)
9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.

Today’s Prayer (12/20/2020)

Oh Lord, I am honored to be here with You this day. Thank You for allowing me in Your presence, in order to thank You personally for Your glorious birth. Yes, Jesus, I thank You, God, for coming down to save us from our sins. I wish I was around that time of year on earth, for it would have been a big blessing to see You while You were born or serving on earth. I can just imagine what I would do if I would have seen You in person. Would You have called my name out of the thousands of people You passed by? I would hope so, and even if You didn’t, I would still run up to You, Lord. And after coming up to You, I would not be able to stop myself from crying, falling to my knees, and worshipping You, Jesus. Maybe this will be what it will be like after I die and I can finally see You in person. These many years have I been longing to have a glimpse of what it would be like to have You in my presence physically. Where I could know that You were right by my side. I know that You can show Yourself to me in dreams and visions, but how awesome would it be if You came to me while I was wide awake also. Oh, how I can wish! You are what I need, God. Without You I am nothing, but with You I am everything. Therefore, will I prepare each day to meet You. Not doing what I think is right, but what You would will me to do in this life. I pray that my life speaks volumes of my love and devotion to You, my King. I truly do love You. Even more than You will ever know. I adore You, Jesus. Amen.

Jesus’s Birth: Matthew 2

We celebrate Jesus and His birth this time of year. Because He came, our sins can be forgiven, while our path is set in motion.

Today’s Prayer (12/19/2020)

Oh Lord, I pray that there will be more purity, righteousness, and holiness in my life. Keep me upright and on Your path that leads to heaven. I don’t wish to have any worldly standards in my life, but only the standards that You set before me. Give me over to morals that are high because Your armor is in my life. God, I do not wish to be brought down because of temptation. Just because my flesh thinks it is pleasurable, I know that falling into sin is not worth it. It is true that sin does stink and causes us to stumble in this life. It causes us to be guilty and shameful before people, including You. We are brought far from people we love, and even You. This is the goal of the enemy and He has so many people in His clutches now. He had me as well for many years until You came and rescued me, Jesus. There was nothing different about my life from others, but You changed everything. I don’t have to worry about becoming life the wicked, for You have made me different. What a wonderful day it was when You began to move in my life. It was when I was humbled, in order to be baptized, and then receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. And what a day that was, for You poured into me like a fire from heaven. It filled my soul in a way that I had to tell everybody about You, Jesus. And it is still my prayer that people will wake up to their sins and give their lives over to You completely. Only then can You bring purity, holiness, and righteousness in their lives. A clear conscience, being worthy in Your sight. Thank You for doing this for me and others in the faith. I love You, Lord. I give You praise. Amen.

1 Timothy 4:12

1 Timothy 4:12 (KJV)
12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Today’s Prayer (12/18/2020)

Oh Lord, I pray that we will all come to a greater realization of Your divinity. Yes, God, I pray that people will come to know You the way You always desired for us to know You. That You, Jesus, are God, who was made flesh. How You came down to save us all from our sins. But not just this. You came to teach us how to live a life pleasing in Your sight. Even teachings that would lead us on the path to eternal life. But how can people know the way unless they are reading the Bible? The answer is that they cannot. If people just trust in their pastors and teachers and not get into Your Word for themselves, they will never know what it truly for or against You. I love how You have spoken to me. I may have resisted for some time, but I am so grateful that I began to follow You after all was set and done. You could have given up on me a long time ago, but Your hands of mercy were ever towards me. I may have left You, but You never left my side. Thank You for drawing me to You day in and day out. Just like the prodigal son, You stood there waiting for His return and have done the same for me. What a great God You are. Because of Your mercy, my eyes have been opened. I have ears to hear and eyes to see what You would do for my life. Thank You, God. Continue to lead me from temptation and build me up in Your amour. I need Your guidance and direction to be happy. I love You. Amen.

Mark 2:9-12

Mark 2:9-12 (KJV)
9 Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?
10 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)
11 I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.
12 And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.

Jesus Said He Is God: Mark 2

Because Jesus is the “Son of Man”, that also makes Him the Lord our God. He has the power to heal us and to forgive us our sins.

Today’s Prayer (12/17/2020)

Thank You Jesus for coming into this world. Yes, Thank You, God, for coming down, in order to deliver us from sin and death. You have the power to forgive us our sins and I am so grateful that You have done just that for me. Your atonement on the cross was for the sins of this world and I wish that people would understand this fact. That nothing can hold us back from following You now. There is nothing we have done that is too grievous that You cannot forgive. I know this for a fact, for I was a very wretched and sinful man before I found You. I was so caught up in pornography and even adultery while in my early years being married. This addiction and evil lifestyle almost destroyed my life, my marriage, my relationship with my children, and relations with brothers, sisters, and parents. I thought I had the good things in this life, but I was so wrong and foolish. I thought I could get away with having pleasure in the moment and not have to get caught in doing so, but You always knew! It was just a matter of time that You would inform my wife of what I had done. And this fateful day did come. I had nowhere to hide anymore. Everything was now out in the open. I could either confess my sins or try to justify my actions. And thankfully, You gave me over to confess my sins to my wife, my children, and the rest of my family members. Even to You did I cry out for mercy, and thankfully You forgave me. Lord, I would not be where I am today if You had not had compassion upon my lost soul back in that time. Thank You. I love You, Jesus. I give You my life to serve You, my King. Amen.

Luke 5:18-20

Luke 5:18-20 (KJV)
18 And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.
19 And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.
20 And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.

Jesus Said He Is God: Luke 5

Because Jesus is the Son of Man, this means He is God. He holds the power to forgive our sins and to raise us up unto eternal life.

Today’s Prayer (12/16/2020)

Lord God, I lift You up in praise! You deserve the glory and all the honor. I am only Your willing servant and I thank You for this day and forever. I ask that You lead me to the lost. Even people who don’t know You now but are ready to receive You. The people of whom You have prepared from the foundation of the world, but have not yet encountered a good Christian to talk to yet. A person of whom they can confide in for answers, of which You are able to speak through us and into their lives. Lord, we need more people who are not afraid of what the world thinks about us. People who will proclaim the name of Jesus no matter what the cost. All I know, God, is that when I preach the good news of the gospel I am very happy. Even the times I can pray for a person who is in need, my soul is lifted up in gladness. I love it when people’s hearts are turned to You. Evangelism has not been easy over these years, for many people have come and persecuted me and others. Even to the point of being beat up, has this happened to me, but I am still not afraid. It is You, God, that gives me the boldness to speak out. Your confidence is in me now, and I will continue to rise up and tell people about You, that more people will be saved. Lord, the harvest is ripe, but only a few laborers are found. So please send them out in my area and in all the world. We need to reach these people before it is too late. I love You, Jesus. I give You praise and great glory. You are my King and I worship You. Amen.
