Today’s Prayer (01/31/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that more people will see dreams, visions, and other things that can only come from heaven, in order for them to do a one-eighty and be saved. Also, send people into their lives who are true Christians, and even a good Christian church. Then, can these people learn from the best Christians how to live a life pleasing for You, God. It is my desire that more people would have the heart to serve You, but I am afraid that doing this is frowned upon by too many people in the time I am living in. They think that going forth and doing as You say is a work, so they say it is not needed. Wow! Do they not realize that we were created unto good works? Yes, God. I understand what Your holy Word says about having faith in You unto salvation, but that true salvation is shown by our many good works for You. And not just this, but it is a life lived for You. Thank You for showing me the truth and that You are looking for people who will live out their entire life for You. Not just a portion of their time. One day, I know that I will come before You and You will be looking at what I did before I took my last breath. Other things will not matter if my lamp was not lit with the Holy Spirit when I leave this earth. And when I finally see You, face to face, will I rejoice, even with great joy. I can’t wait for that day, but until then, please do lead me by the hand. Continue to do a mighty work in my life, that many people will see the Father in me and be saved. I love You, Jesus. I praise Your Holy Name. Amen.

Acts 9:3-5

Acts 9:3-5 (KJV)
3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

Paul’s Conversion

No matter what you’ve done, there is forgiveness found in Jesus. Call upon His Name in your confessions and you shall be saved.

Today’s Prayer (01/30/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that the fire of the Holy Spirit will reign down from the heavens and enter each one of our lives. So many people are walking like zombies, being led by the flesh and what other people say instead of You. And what is sad is that so many of them will tell you that they are a Christian when asked upon. They may say that they were baptized and even go to church. Yes, God, this is the mind frame of millions of people in our day-in-age. I am afraid that they will not be happy come death and judgment. But I do not wish for these people who are so lost to be cast into the lake of fire. Instead, I pray that their eyes will finally be opened up to their sinful lifestyle they are walking in. That they will begin to read the Bible like a child and call upon Your Name often in prayer. It is also my prayer that the pastors of these people will repent also. Convict them of their false teachings and give them boldness to speak Your truth. Even if the sermons have to speak volumes to people’s iniquity, give these pastors a mouth that is filled with Your Spirit. Let them no longer speak what is on their heart, but the words that You would give them. Surely, You know every person who is in that church congregation and is also ready to speak to their lives. Yes, Jesus, let these men who are pastors now, become Your true pastors both in what they teach, do for the people and church, and also their lives for You, Lord. Light up their lives, as well as ours. I believe in You. I trust in You, Jesus. I love You, God. Amen.

John 3:5,6

John 3:5,6 (KJV)
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Born Of The Holy Spirit

Unless you are born of the Holy Spirit you cannot enter the kingdom of God, which is heaven. Don’t be found disappointed come death.

Today’s Prayer (01/29/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that we will rise up as Christians and not just say we are because it sounds good. It needs to not only roll off our tongue in a nice way but also cause people to see a mighty difference in our lives. Yes, God, being a Christian is more than words, but actions. This I wish every person would understand. How being led by You is the true way of life for any person who says they are in the faith now. For this reason, do I follow You, Jesus. Wherever the Holy Spirit will lead me, I will go. I am so grateful to no longer be led by the passions of the flesh, which only got me into trouble. Truly, the Spirit has led me from sin and into great joy in Your presence. I love it when my life is in line with Your perfect will, for I am able to walk this life with You by my side and not have to worry about stumbling. So Lord, continue to shine Your light upon me and others in the faith. Lead us to people who we can do service towards, supply their needs, witness to, pray with, talk with, and even give a shoulder to cry on. You are the one that makes us more of a caring, compassionate, patient, loving, kind, forgiving, and thoughtful person. We can strive to do all this on our own, but we will never finish the race well. Other things will continue to take our appetite away before Your characteristics can enter our lives. As for me, I want no more than to be like You, Jesus. You are my greatest example, and I will follow in Your footsteps to the end of time. I love You, Lord. I praise Your Holy Name. Amen.

Acts 8:3-5

Acts 8:3-5 (KJV)
3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.
4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

Today’s Prayer (01/28/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that people will desire to know You, God, and not just know the type of person people say You are. Instead, that their hearts will be for you in their thoughts and their acts. A belief is one thing, but our actions to know Your will and to follow you is another thing. And one thing that is lacking in the world we live in is the gift of the Holy Spirit. People trust in people, rather than allow themselves to be led by You. The church they go to has them locked in so that anything else seems foreign and to be shunned. Yes, God, people of many cults and false religions teach their members to not heed the teachings of any other person outside their church leaders, lest they go astray. How said is this? If more people were simply searching for truth, then they would find it in the words contained in the Bible. And yes, there are people that can help them know the truth, but their ears need to be opened to You first. Surely, You are sending out Your vessels of hope and only people who have eyes to see will know who they are. For they will see the light round about Your people as they teach, preach, and witness Your truths to the lost. We live in a dying generation where most people are going to hell because of their wickedness and false beliefs. But I still have hope that some of them will be rescued and be saved before their time is up. That is why I go forth and share the gospel with whoever will hear. I love You, Lord. I trust in You. In Your Name, Jesus, I pray this. Amen.

Acts 7:47-49

Acts 7:47-49 (KJV)
47 But Solomon built him an house.
48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

Today’s Prayer (01/27/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that You will move in us like never before. Yes, God, indwell in us and make our bodies a holy place unto You, our King. Use us mightily for Your kingdom and for Your glory. This life is not mine, but Yours, oh God. Use me as You will, that many more souls will be saved. No matter the detours I have to take in life for Your sake, I will do it. Continue to give me words to speak, that it may be Your words that move people to repent and get right with You. On my own terms, I am so weak and have nothing good to say. I often slip up and say and do the wrong things that hurt people. But when You are living inside of me, I have boldness beyond measure to say and do the thing that comes from heaven. Often times, I leave places and I don’t even know exactly what I said, or how I did it, but I do know that You did it all through me, God. The words I spoke came from You alone, and if people were healed, then You did it, Lord. If there were hundreds of people listening intently to the message at hand, then I know they heard Your voice and saw Your countenance and not mine own. Lord, continue to have Your way in my life. Don’t let these encounters of the past be the last of me in Your kingdom. Until my last breath, I will let You lead me to do greater things than ever before. There are miracles, healings, prayers, and teachings that will cause a revival in your Name, I pray. Amen.

Acts 6:8-10

Acts 6:8-10 (KJV)
8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.
9 Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.
10 And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.

Today’s Prayer (01/26/2021)

Oh Lord, I am so grateful to be Your witness. There is so much darkness in the world we live in, but a little light can really change the atmosphere. Surely, if You are among more people through the Holy Spirit, then things would be much different. That is why I pray that more people who say they believe in You will join me in the harvest and also witness Your truths to others. The harvest is ripe, but few people are actually out there doing Your will. This is what is so sad, for every day, every hour, and every minute, there are people dying and going to hell. People who could have known You unto salvation have died in their sins. Therefore, they have no more chance to repent. This is why there is such an urgency to declare the good news of the gospel to as many people as we can. Lord, it is my desire to see fewer people go to hell and more people go to heaven. I would love to see hell emptied, but I know this is not possible. So I will do all that I can to warn people of the wrath to come, while leading them safely home to You, Jesus. Yes, Lord, as I call upon them to come to You in preaching and prayer, give them ears to hear You. Then, when I eventually leave them, will they make the decision for themselves to call upon Your Name in prayer. And Lord, lead more people in the harvest in doing the same things. All for Your glory and not our own. We are only Your instruments of hope, that You may do the rest in their lives when we are gone. I believe in You, Lord. I trust in You. I love You. Amen.

Acts 5:30-32

Acts 5:30-32 (KJV)
30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

When Persecution Rises

When people come against us because of our faith, we are to let our light shine even more so in proclaiming the name of Jesus.

Today’s Prayer (01/25/2021)

Oh Lord, our God, I pray that You will give me and others more boldness to share the truths of Your Words and Yourself to others. That we will never back down when we are threatened or persecuted. And please give us the words to speak. We cannot do or say anything good unless You are with us. Keep our eyes fixed on what needs to be done and to look all around for people who are ready to receive You, Jesus. Don’t let us feel like there is nothing else we can say to people, for You always have something to say. So often do we let ourselves get discouraged when things don’t appear to be going our way, but give us even more boldness to witness Your truths when this happens. I know that more people can be saved even among the rudest crowds, but only You can give us eyes to see them. It has been these times that I have not given up the preaching, the passing out tracts, the praying for people, and helping the homeless, and doors have opened up in a big way. And I give You honor and praise for what took place in those days of the past. I just hope and pray that more days are ahead of me and for others in the faith also. I trust that You will continue to guide my path, and I pray that more people will be guided by the Holy Spirit also. I trust in You, Jesus. Continue to use each one of us for Your greater good. I trust in You. I believe in You. I love You so much, God. Amen.

Acts 4:29-31

Acts 4:29-31 (KJV)
29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,
30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Asking God For More Boldness

Even when persecutions come, we pray for more boldness to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to people who have ears to hear.

Today’s Prayer (01/24/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that people will begin to encounter You in a new way. Open their eyes to see Your mighty power in their lives. Many people are skeptical of miracles and healings, but when they are used by You to perform them, everything changes. A skeptic man or woman can be turned into a street evangelist overnight. That is how amazing Your power is. I have seen Your power and am blown away each time it is on display. Thank You for using me for Your glory and to bring healing into many people’s lives. I am simply Your messenger and You are able to do great things through me and others who simply believe. Every person who believes in You could become Your instruments of hope in other people’s lives if they would just allow You to do a work in them. You have healed a woman with cancer and gave a deaf man his hearing back, because of my great faith, and having been worthy of Your great Name. Yes, God. Only You can cleanse me of all my sins. And when I know that I am clean, then I am able to go out and do great things in the harvest. It isn’t me doing anything but You doing a marvelous work and a wonder in my life and others. Lord, I love to witness Your truths to the world and to also bring healing and restoration into their lives also. This is a great confirmation that Your power is on display and not men, and we all need to give You the glory for what just happened. So Jesus, keep me from harm’s way, and my eyes fastened upon You. Use me mightily for Your kingdom and don’t let me let up until my last breath. I believe in You. love You, my God. Amen.

Acts 3:1-7

Acts 3:1-7 (KJV)
1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.
6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
