Next Steps After Biden Is Certified As President

What do we do as Christians since Joe Biden has been certified as President of the United States of America? This has happened today by congress, being 01/07/2021. This day comes the day after extreme Trump supporters stormed the Washington DC Capital Building. Of which we know this is wrong, since God is against all forms of rioting. Paul taught, “let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.” (Romans 13:13) But now that we know that the actions from yesterday were so wrong to this land that we live in, we need to now move on. These were wicked acts that took place from all the rioting and unlawful storming into the U.S. Capital Building. I am not pro-Biden in any way, but as Trump supporters, we can never think to bring forth a president of our choice by force. This is wrong, for we are doing our will instead of God’s will. The same can be said for pushing God’s hand in our prayers by saying that we are grateful that we know that Trump will win the election. This I heard repeatedly this year and now what will these people think? Truly, saying these things before it actually takes place is putting God in the corner, which He will not stand for. So if you were caught doing this in prayer, please repent today. Praying for God to have His hand in it is fine, but not making accusations that he already did.

As for what we should be doing today, now that Biden is certified as president, we need to be peaceable people. This means treating people who appear to be our enemies with love. Joe Biden should also be treated with respect, though many people will not do so. This is showing love for someone we may not be for in his actions. Of course, if he starts to institute different mandates upon the people that go against God’s will, then that gives us a right to resist. We don’t become unruly people, but resist all evil in this world. This can be resisting the coronavirus vaccination, which we should all do. In the near future, Biden may mandate the vaccine, but we must be ready to resist at all costs. It will not be worth gaining access to fly on airplanes, work, or even buy or sell. This vaccine may very well be carrying a mark, which could be the mark of the beast, so we don’t take our chances. Now, it could also come in a form of another mark that is put on our forehead or right hand. No matter, we resist for God’s sake. Some people say that socialism is coming into America and that the doors are opening up to a great civil war among the states. However, if all this comes because of Biden as president. we shall see. As for now, we keep looking up to Jesus, our King, in all things. We allow the Holy Spirit to lead us by the hand, that we are not coerced into doing what the world thinks is right and not God.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that we will remain still in Your promises for our lives. That we will not allow what is happening today to change anything in our faith, in any way shape, or form. If anything, because Biden has been certified as president, we need to rise up as Christians more so now than ever before. This doesn’t mean that we will riot and do things that the evil one wants us to do, but do whatever You put in our hearts to do. Yes, God, we come in the unity of the faith and cling to You for answers. Help us to not act out in the flesh, but be found doing Your will for mankind. Cast out any anger that is in our hearts to the curb and fill us up with Your love. Cast out all ill feelings for people, and replace those feelings with love. Lord, only You can help us love our enemies when it seems almost impossible. Even can You help us get through to people who were once our enemies and point them to know You also. Then, can these enemies to the faith also know You as we have and be saved. Surely, we do not know who is Your elect and who is not, therefore, we will go forth and proclaim the good news of the gospel to every person who has an ear to hear. I am not afraid of people who will be upset, for if they are ready to hear You, then maybe another time they will be. I do not know what they are going through now, so pushing the gospel on people who are not interested is not good. I love You, Lord. Keep leading me by the hand. I believe in You. You are my God and I praise You, Jesus. Amen.
