Be Still And Know That I am God

There are a lot of people that are very upset because Trump is no longer in office, but that Biden has been certified as president. To many this is a very dark time we are living in, however, to the few who have continued to make Jesus their king and not a man, there is so much light that still abounds. Yes, Biden may be coming up on an inauguration on January 20th, but my spirits are still high. This is because God is my refuge and I pray that He will continue to be so for every other Christian. It was David who also proclaimed, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.” (Psalm 46:1-5) Because the Lord, our God, is with us, we will not fear what is coming in the near future. He is our helper at every time of the year, especially in times of need. But for God to not be removed from our lives, we need to stop putting all of our trust in a man, but trust in God. This means moving on from Trump’s loss and moving forward with the Holy Spirit moving in our life.

David also said, “the heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.” (Psalm 46:6-11) Wow! These verses are exactly what we need to be reading right now. Because God is with us, nothing is stopping us from doing exactly what He wills for our lives. God’s works are mighty and are even more mighty when His works are wrought forth in us. We can win the battle against the evil one if we but trust in Jesus. But in order for any of this to happen, we must be still and know that God is in control of our lives. So let Him be exalted. Don’t let your emotions get out of control in hatred and anger, but allow His peace to come into your lives. This means to stop praying evil upon people, but God’s hand of mercy. Satan wants us to think evil of anyone, but don’t let Him win. If Jesus is with you, then He will help you love one another. So trust in Him and love will flow from you to others, even your enemies. This is God’s will for us.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that people will stop pushing their ways upon You, God. That they will stop pushing their own will when it comes to politics upon You, also. So many people are still proclaiming that Trump will still prevail and saying that You have already called Him to be president for four more terms. This is so false since Biden has already been certified as president. I pray that these delusions will be released in Your mighty Name. As for those people in America, some say they are for Trump. Some say they are for Biden. And others say they are for You, Jesus. The same things have happened for centuries where people have put their trust in men over You. And so we see people do things that are morally wrong because You are not with them. But I pray that people will repent of their unbelief. That You will begin to fill them with Your love. That all their anger and hatred will be released. Come and enter these people through visions, dreams, prayers, and even their thoughts, that they may receive true wisdom. Wisdom that will move them to love one another as You love us. Love that can change any atmosphere. Peace that can bring people to their knees and finally acknowledge their wrongdoings. Then, can You do a work in their lives and lead them safely to Your presence. Lord, I do not know what lies ahead of me, but I do know that as long as you are leading me, then I have nothing to fear. You are my protector. I believe in You, Jesus. I love You. Amen.
