Jeremiah’s Prophesy of Jesus Coming Into The World

Long before Jesus’s birth, Jeremiah prophesied of His coming into the world. Even among the dark times of his time and what he saw in the future, in regards to evil pastors and false prophets, there was a glimmer of hope in Christ. This is because the Lord God would soon come to save us from our sins. He wrote, “behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, The Lord Our Righteousness. Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that they shall no more say, The Lord liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; But, The Lord liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.” (Jeremiah 23:5-8) This is referring to the coming Messiah, who is from the lineage of David. He would be called the King of the Jews, of whom He will execute judgment and justice in all the earth. He is called the Lord, our Righteousness. Even so would the Lord, our God, live among us in the flesh, as was spoken. Wow! What an amazing prophecy that surely did come to pass with Jesus being born of Mary and Joseph, who were both from the lineage of David. Everything that was said of Him, Jesus fulfilled. Praise God.

When Jesus was being tried by Pilate, he “asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest it. And in speaking with Pilate, “Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.” (John 18:36) Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man.” (Luke 23:3,4) And it was written above where Jesus was crucified “in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, This Is The King Of The Jews.” (Luke 23:38) You see, Jesus never denied that He was a King or had a kingdom of His own. Now, does Jesus have the authority to judge the earth and all mankind as was prophesied? Yes, He does. Paul said, “we are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” (2 Corinthians 5:8-10) He was and is the same Lord God of judgment and righteousness as was spoken of in scriptures years before He came into the world. And all those that put their trust in Him shall be saved. If you have not given your life to Jesus yet, do it today. He has the power to forgive you and save your life. Amen.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord God of Righteousness, I come to You in praise and honor. Thank You, Jesus, for coming into the world. Because You came and died for the sins of the world, we have forgiveness and mercy. I am so blessed to know that suffered and paid my debt on the cross. I thought I was an outcast and could never be brought into Your kingdom, but You had other thoughts. I thought I was too far gone in my sins for You to rescue me, but it didn’t matter because of Your love for me. Many times I cried out and felt so heartbroken for the wicked things I had done, but the day that I wanted to stop alltogether is when I let You in also. Yes, God, I prayed that You would come and take me to new places, and rip out of my life all of my addictions and bad habits, and You did exactly what I knew You could do alone. You gave me a new chance at life and I am so grateful. I had no way to escape an addiction to porn and to remove my lustful eyes for women, but You taught me to love people instead of lust for them. Yes, Jesus, You helped me see people with respect. Thank You, for teaching me. I have eyes to see because You are leading me now. I have ears to hear because You are giving me the wisdom I need to carry on. Even has my heart been opened up like never before because Your goodness flows deep within me. Your patience, love, forgiveness, and mercy, has changed my life. Now, I know that when I eventually die and come before You, Jesus, I will be found worthy. Wow! Thank You for allowing me to be called Your son. I believe in You, Jesus. I trust in You. I love You. Amen.
