Psalm 46:10

Psalm 46:10 (KJV)
10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Today’s Prayer (01/07/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that we will remain still in Your promises for our lives. That we will not allow what is happening today to change anything in our faith, in any way shape, or form. If anything, because Biden has been certified as president, we need to rise up as Christians more so now than ever before. This doesn’t mean that we will riot and do things that the evil one wants us to do, but do whatever You put in our hearts to do. Yes, God, we come in the unity of the faith and cling to You for answers. Help us to not act out in the flesh, but be found doing Your will for mankind. Cast out any anger that is in our hearts to the curb and fill us up with Your love. Cast out all ill feelings for people, and replace those feelings with love. Lord, only You can help us love our enemies when it seems almost impossible. Even can You help us get through to people who were once our enemies and point them to know You also. Then, can these enemies to the faith also know You as we have and be saved. Surely, we do not know who is Your elect and who is not, therefore, we will go forth and proclaim the good news of the gospel to every person who has an ear to hear. I am not afraid of people who will be upset, for if they are ready to hear You, then maybe another time they will be. I do not know what they are going through now, so pushing the gospel on people who are not interested is not good. I love You, Lord. Keep leading me by the hand. I believe in You. You are my God and I praise You, Jesus. Amen.

Romans 13:13,14

Romans 13:13,14 (KJV)
13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Today’s Prayer (01/06/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that You will give us guidance and direction in these times of uncertainty. Our country, the United States of America, is going through a very difficult time when it comes to the elections and the coronavirus. This pandemic was already making many people upset, along with the Black Lives Matter’s movement and riots. And now, today, we see that the Antifa plus Trump supporters stormed the Washington DC Capital building, which is very sad. This included many people in the faith, which I will never understand. Have people not read in Romans 13, which reads, “Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.” (Romans 13:13) This is clear, God, that we are not to participate in or lead any riots of any kind. These kinds of acts are uncalled for and should never happen, according to Your holy words. I know that many people are angry inside because of election fraud, so they feel a need to do all that they can to push Trump into office, but this is uncalled for also. You have helped me understand that we cannot force Your hand into doing things we think is right. And the same thing is said when people try to force a president into office. In all of this, I leave these difficult times in Your hand. I just ask that You will give me comfort and peace to know what to do next. Speak to me words of wisdom, for my mind is open. Lead me by the hand, and don’t let my flesh get out of control. I love You. Amen.

Romans 13:10-14

Romans 13:10-14 (KJV)
10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

What The Bible Says About Rioting

As believers in Jesus, we are not to take part in or start riots, but are peaceable people. We love God the same as we love one another.

Today’s Prayer (01/05/2021)

Lord, I pray that people will begin to understand the worth of the Holy Bible in their lives. So many people neglect it and simply open up to read or follow along at church. These same people are missing out on Your guidance and direction. Your light is not among them, for they are now walking in darkness. They have opened the door to sin, and now temptation has power over them. They are not armored through You, Jesus, but have their own flesh to fight the battles. And because our flesh is weak, these people are left in a state of despair, where guilt and shame are pilled up. Many feel like there is nowhere to go for answers in this state of mind. And what has happened is that they have left You, God. They have put aside Your lamp for their lives, which is the Bible. Because they have trampled on it for so long it has become worthless to them. Even is it a burden to open and read when asked about it. Wow! How far the people in this world have fallen. How deep they have allowed sin to take over their lives. I just pray that there will be a fair amount of people that will wake up to their sins before it is too late. I do not wish to know of hell filling up with more people who have lost their faith. But Lord, instill in thousands upon thousands of these types of people a desire to repent. To call upon Your name in all their confessions. Then will they see the need once again to read the Bible daily. And it will become a lamp unto their feet. This I pray, in Your mighty Name, Jesus. Amen.

Psalm 119:102-105

Psalm 119:102-105 (KJV)
102 I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.
103 How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104 Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.
105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Today’s Prayer (01/04/2021)

Oh Lord, keep us safe from the evil one. Help us to never fall victim to Satan’s evil schemes. Our joy and comfort come from You. We don’t need what the world offers to make us happy, for You have brought all the joy, peace, and love into our lives that we need. We are truly satisfied without the luxuries of this world because Your presence is ever with us. Our treasures are made in heaven, not on earth. To seek You first is the greatest decision I have ever made and I pray that more people will do the same. Then, can they also know what You have said in scripture and allow Your words to change their lives. I may not be well-liked when it comes to people in the world, for my standards come from You alone. When I go out and preach the gospel there are many scoffers and people who very much dislike the message of the gospel. But I know that You are looking for the one who will receive You, which drives me to witness and go out on the streets. May more people come to faith and discover Your truths for themselves. What a glorious day it will be for them when they finally find You also, Jesus. It is my prayer that these new converts to the faith and others that have been around for some time will all come to a unity in the faith. That we will become one in the church, as You are one in the Father. Allow us to become one with You also Jesus and Yours, and our Father also. We worship You and give You praise. We honor You this day and forever. We love You. Amen.

John 17:14-17

John 17:14-17 (KJV)
14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Today’s Prayer (01/03/2021)

Thank You Father for sending Your Son into the world for us. He brought into this world light and light abundant. Even grace and eternal life that came from Your hand. Because Jesus died for our sins on the cross, there is forgiveness and mercy. What a great God You are. You always knew that we needed a Savior in this life, of whom Jesus was and is forever. Therefore, we glorify Jesus as we glorify the Father. You are the one true God, of whom the Son and the Spirit dwells. I will never fully understand how You all work so perfectly together. I just know that You are perfect in all Your dealings. You are so good! Your mercy endures forever. Thank You for selecting me among the millions of people in the world. Because I have You, my faith is secure in Christ Jesus unto salvation. He is my Savior and Lord of all. Thank You, Father. I give glory to You, Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We praise You. Lead us from temptation. We receive from Your hand and not the hand of the enemy. Keep us from harm’s way and on Your righteous path, oh Lord. I can find a life of holiness, righteousness, purity, love, patience, kindness, forgiveness, love, and joy from Your hand alone. Everything and everyone else will eventually fail me, but You never fail us, God. Our hope and promises are secure in Your hands alone. We worship You. We praise You. We love You. I glorify Your Name. Amen.

John 17:1-4

John 17:1-4 (KJV)
1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

Today’s Prayer (01/02/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that You will keep Your hand of mercy upon my life at all times. Though You are in heaven now, the Holy Spirit is here now, that we might know the truth and follow it also. I wish I could see You, Lord, but as long as I can see You after this life is done, know that I am anxiously waiting for that day. Will You allow me to run into Your arms? I really hope so, for I want to hug You, my Father. I know that many people have rejected You, but I can never understand this. How people can allow the corruption of this world into their lives, where true treasures come from You above. One day in judgment, fear will fall upon every unbeliever and vile sinner. Where Your true believers will rejoice just to see You and be in Your presence. It will not be a time of regret, but a time of rejoicing. For You have chosen us from the foundations of this world. Because of Your sacrifice on the cross, there is forgiveness for our sins. Thank You, Jesus. Your mercy endures forever. Because of Your love for me, I have been able to experience Your great joy which lasts forever. Lord, keep me on Your righteous path until my last breath. I wish to leave this life strong in the faith. Don’t allow temptations to take me down, but lead me far from the enemy. I wish to follow You instead. I adore You, God. You are my greatest joy of all. I give You praise and honor. I love You. Amen.

John 17:10-12

John 17:10-12 (KJV)
10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

Today’s Prayer (01/01/2021)

Oh Lord, our God, come and breath upon us the Holy Spirit. We do not wish to be led by the evil one, but by Your hand alone. So come and take us now. We are waiting. If there is any sin in our lives, take that also. We know that it is impossible to please You unless the Spirit is with us. Therefore, our arms are open for You to receive us. Find us in the place we are at and make a way that all chains will be broken. We are sorry for falling away from You but are ready now to do Your will. Forgive us, God. Place us on Your righteous path. Keep us apart from harm’s way and lead us from temptation. We believe in You, Jesus. I know that You cannot be with us physically but through the Holy Spirit. In His presence are You able to be made known to us through dreams, visions, and many other ways. Even You have shown Yourself unto me and I am so grateful. Thank You for showing Yourself to me in more ways than I could ever imagine. I have seen You through reading the Bible, praying for myself and others, worshipping, service, evangelizing, and other ways also. You have made Yourself to me and have lit up my life in Your love. I know that many others are able to see You now also. You are a faithful God and have not left us comfortless. The Holy Spirit is our comforter and our greatest guide of all. Because You are giving Him words to speak and guidance that we need, we are safe in this dark world. Oh, how I am grateful for all that You do in my life, God. I love You so much. I praise You. Amen.

John 16:12-14

John 16:12-14 (KJV)
12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

The Roles of The Holy Spirit

Is the Holy Spirit with you? If not, then let God fill you with the Spirit. Baptism is another way this gift is bestowed upon us.
