Today’s Prayer (04/30/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that we will learn from Your mighty hand and not from ourselves and others instead. There are good things to learn from in this world, even from school and books, but none of that should take away from what You can teach us. I see You, God, as someone I can trust in for answers. People have betrayed me over time and some have led me to follow their lies, but this has never happened with You. Sure, certain people have said sorry for their wrongdoings, and I am happy to forgive and forget. You do this for me and others, so it is my pleasure to forgive one another. I am not much different when I am living for the flesh. I say and do things that hurt people and don’t understand how wrong I really was until You convict me of my sins. So yes, I pray that people will forgive me, as You have already. There is so much I wish I could forget and wish it was not part of my past, but it is. I have to live with it, but that does not mean that I have to let it deter my walk with You, Jesus. As You have forgiven me, even from the east to the west, I forgive myself. This is difficult, for inside I see a wretched sinner who doesn’t deserve forgiveness and mercy. However, I do know that You died for me. You paid the penalty for my sins on the cross that I might live again in harmony with You. I trust in You, God. You have made me the person I am today. If I am helping others and doing kind acts of service, You have led me in those things. I rejoice with others who are saved and pray for there’s and other’s needs also. Help those people who are distraught and need You, God. I love You. Amen.

2 Corinthians 1:9-11

2 Corinthians 1:9-11 (KJV)
9 But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:
10 Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;
11 Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.

Today’s Prayer (04/29/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that we will learn what it means to truly love You and to stay firm in the faith. You have put this truth in my heart and I hope and pray that others will also learn from Your mighty hand. It is vital that we abide in You, that You may abide in us. Only then will we keep Your commandments and also love Your ways. For many people, obedience to You is too hard, but to the elect, it is a blessing indeed. We don’t complain when You wish for us to do something but give You praise for even asking of us something like this in our lives. Thank You for even wanting to do a work in and through my life. It is absolutely amazing, and I give You praise, honor, and respect whenever I am called. You are my King and I worship You, God. Have Your way in my life, Lord. Do a work that has never been seen. I am here, ready, and waiting for You to use me once again in Your kingdom. If I am not being used by Your mighty hand, then I have failed You and I am sorry. Lord, it is my prayer that You will fill my life up with righteousness, holiness, charity, and love. May I go about each day with Your light round about me. I wish for every person to see You in me and also glorify the Father. This is what I hope for day in and day out. You make me stronger, God. I love You, Jesus. I trust in You. Amen.

Stand Fast In The Faith

It is important, as Christians, to stand fast in the faith. Let charity abound in our lives, and truly love the Lord Jesus.

Today’s Prayer (04/28/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that we will be more open to Your truth. Sometimes it is so close to the touch, but we are so far from it spiritually because of our closed minds. Many people have also relied on people’s opinions instead of searching the scriptures for themselves, in order to know what is true or not. What information and knowledge people have gained from their pastors, bishops, prophets, or other people have become most important to them and also their truth. And the sad thing is, people that are like this are very hard to witness to. They already have the truth and are good with that. No matter if they are missing out on knowing the whole truth, so many people are so far from You, that they are unwilling to learn. But the question is, God, why won’t these people search the scriptures for truth? Are they abiding in You, or other things that fulfill their lives instead? I wish that people would put their trust in You and Your Words more so than anything else. We can be guided in this lost world, but we must break free from the doctrines of men first. Then, and only then, can we learn from Your mighty hand. We need Your wisdom, God, and not what people may say. Opinions are just that, opinions, and what I need is substance. You bring life into all things that I know now and will know. Even reading the Book of Enoch has been very enlightening, which I believe has come from Your hand. It is my prayer that people do not miss out on this book of scripture. I love You. I trust in You. Amen.

Matthew 22:29,30

Matthew 22:29,30 (KJV)
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

Today’s Prayer (04/27/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that this family that I helped today at Walmart will be watched over. You know their names, so I don’t have to mention them here. It was a blessing just finding them and discovering their needs. Surely, what they needed for food and supplies was the least I could offer them. You give me so much, Lord. How is it for me to walk past somebody who has greater needs than myself? I can still remember the smile on the mother’s and the son’s faces as I walked around the store with them. They were in a very difficult spot in their lives, but You came through and rescued them. I was only Your messenger in finding what they needed and pay for their groceries. My money is Yours, God. So use it for Your kingdom. There is nothing I need in this life than to bless others and to have Your continual presence with me and my family. If that can just happen on a daily basis, that would be spectacular. There is nothing this world can offer me that You haven’t already. You are my greatest love of all, Jesus. I cannot tell You how much You mean to me. You gave Your life on the cross and died for me that I might be forgiven. You rose from the grave, that I might have newness of life, peace, and joy, in this life and in the resurrection. I believe You, God. Please keep an eye out for this family who was helped, and may the son read the Bible that I gave Him. The prayer we had together will not soon be forgotten and I pray that it brings the whole family to know You, God, as their Lord and Savior. I love You, Jesus. You are my God and I worship You. Amen.

Proverbs 19:17

Proverbs 19:17 (KJV)
17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.

Today’s Prayer (04/26/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that we will all come to the knowledge that You rose from the grave. Yes, Jesus, I am referring to You, my dear Lord and Savior. I pray and worship You because I know that You are alive and can hear every prayer throughout this world and in every place. You are the mediator between us and God. Thank You for Your mighty hand in my life and others. I trust in You, Jesus. There is nothing in this world that I’d rather have than to be led by Your mighty hand. So I come to You in thanksgiving. I praise Your holy Name. There is no one like You, God. You are my deliverer and the only one who has the power to conquer the grave. Your great power and authority are greater than what we could ever understand. What is amazing is that You could save a wretch like me and give me new life. Thank You, Jesus. Your forgiveness is what I need to go on in life. There is no more depression or guilt, for You have me in Your arms. One day, as You have promised, I will be risen from the grave to be with You. What a day that will be. I cherish the thought of just being there in Your presence. Therefore, I live each day to know and serve You better. I will be ready when You call my name. This life is so short and soon I will be with You. Until then, keep my eyes fastened upon what is meaningful in life. Don’t allow me to drift apart from You because of sin and temptation, but build me up in Your armor, that I might never forsake You. I love You, Lord. I trust in You. Amen.

1 Corinthians 15:16-18

1 Corinthians 15:16-18 (KJV)
16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

Today’s Prayer (04/25/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that we will all learn from You and Your Word, the Bible. That we will not get wrapped up with what our church teaches, especially if it goes against Your Words. As for me, I do not wish any church teachings to conflict with what You have already taught me in scripture. It doesn’t matter what I have learned on my own, but if the teachings go against Your holy words I have a problem with that. Confusion should never set in people’s hearts when it comes to Your doctrines, oh Lord. Therefore, I pray that we will be in tune with You more often in prayer and in Your Word. So many people would be following You and not being led astray if they simply picked up to read the Bible for themselves daily. It has been an amazing journey these many years for me. I left things behind to know and follow You completely, and it has been amazing. I have learned so much, God. Even today, Your Word has emphasized the need for an interpreter when it comes to the gift of tongues in a church setting. I know the importance of this gift, but confusion should never be set in people’s hearts just because people decide to speak in tongues in the masses. I know I have been one of these people who was witnessed this in the past, and am still when this happens now. Every sacred thing that comes from Your hand should never be desecrated. I wish to lead people to know You and not have them leave You. I love You, Lord. I trust in You above all things. Amen.

1 Corinthians 14:23-26

1 Corinthians 14:23-26 (KJV)
23 If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?
24 But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all:
25 And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.
26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.

Speaking In Tongues In Church

The speaking of Tongues should only be done in a church setting if there is an interpreter. Otherwise, there is only confusion.

Today’s Prayer (04/24/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that we will each learn how to be charitable people for You and others. The world has a way to teach us how to be kind and loving, but not the way You are able to. When You reach into our soul, much more is able to come out of these kind and loving acts than we thought were possible. What the world leaves out is humility, that self-recognition is not sought after. You deserve the glory, not us. We lift You up, Lord. We are just grateful to be a worker in Your kingdom. We may do many marvelous things in the harvest for the welfare of other people, but if our own pride gets in the way, then what we do is in vain. That is why I cannot stress enough the fact that we need to rely on You in all things. Lord, help us to not be envious of what other people are doing also, but to stay focused on what You have done and will continue to do in our lives. May we gain self-control when certain things are thrown at us in the course of following You. There will be trials and tribulations, but if we can simply set our sights upon You at all times, things will be easier to bear. You even help us endure and keep the faith. Temptations may come, but we know that You are able to keep us from the enemy’s hands. There is nothing that Satan can throw at us that You cannot stop in his tracks. You are so good to us Lord and are the greatest teacher of all, especially when it comes to charity. Thank You for teaching me and for giving me the knowledge I need to carry on. I love You. Amen.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (KJV)
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Charity

Charity causes us to do acts of kindness towards others. We do this also as a humble servant of God, not looking for recognition.

Today’s Prayer (04/23/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that Tracee will continue to be healed. That the sickness that was afflicting her body will stay out, now that You have heard my prayer. It has no room or place in her body now, for Your peace is with her instead. I believe in You, Jesus. You are my God, and I worship You. It is my prayer that people like Tracee and others will fully regain their health again, although the doctors may say otherwise. You are greater than any earthly physician. Your power extends from heaven and onto the earth beneath. You are mighty to heal and mighty to save. There is no one like You, God. I am amazed just knowing You and to have the privilege to tell others about You. It brings me great joy to know that more souls are drawing near to You, Lord, and being saved. Your peace, joy, and love, are enough to change the atmosphere. Where hope was lost, there is direction and a renewal of hope for the future. Lord, help people come to know this for themselves also. That more people will give themselves over to pray often. Not only for themselves but for others. Not only for others remotely, but in person also. People need to know that prayer works so that they begin to pray for and find the answers and relief that they are needing. Truly, Your power is not for just me and other Christians, but for any one person who would submit their lives to You. I trust in You. Your healing hand is real. You are my deliverer. I love You. Amen.

Jeremiah 17:14,15

Jeremiah 17:14,15 (KJV)
14 Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.
15 Behold, they say unto me, Where is the word of the Lord? let it come now.
