Sinner’s Prayer (05/10/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that You will forgive me of all my sins. I know that I have done wrong things and You know very well what they are. I can’t hide anything from Your sight. Therefore, I come to You today openly, that You may hear my cries and forgive me of my sins. It is my desire to no longer do things that cause Your wrath to fall down upon me. Though I deserve Your punishments in the next life, I pray that my life will be spared from the wrath to come. My true desire is to do Your will and not have sin abound in my life, but the enemy strikes so hard sometimes that it is hard to resist his temptations. I am weak in those moments that I fall so hard. You know exactly what is going through my mind in those moments. Even afterward, when I am filled with guilt and shame. Therefore, I turn today from all filthiness and to Your presence, Jesus. Build me up in Your strength and armor. I know that I will have a better chance at defeating the enemy if You are with me. Will You now make a home in my life, while casting out all the darkness? Fill me up with Your light that holiness may about now. I believe in You, Jesus. I trust in You, Lord. Have mercy upon my soul. I love You, God. Amen.

2 Corinthians 7:8-10

2 Corinthians 7:8-10 (KJV)
8 For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season.
9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.
10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

Godly Sorrow

If you are living in sin or have recently sinned against God, then you need to cry out to the Lord for forgiveness.
