The First Two Angels Blow Their Trumpets

When the seven angels begin to sound their trumpets, the people on earth should know that great destruction never seen before is about to come forth on the earth. This is what Jesus spoke of when He said that the righteous would be delivered before the angels blow their trumpets. This is what our Lord said, “immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” (Matthew 24:29-31) How interesting that Jesus speaks of the angels sounding their trumpets and other angels gathering God’s people before great destructions take place. The rapture does happen right before the angels blow their trumpets, as we learned in Revelation, chapter 7. They were caught up and protected from what comes next. This is when every person will see Jesus in the clouds. Then, will each one of the seven angels blow their trumpets. This will cause different types of destruction on the earth. We will cover the first two angels and their trumpets in this message, for the catastrophes are similar, but devastating to anyone left on earth.

John recorded the following in regards to the first two angels and their trumpets sounding. He said, “and the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.” (Revelation 8:6-9) And so it begins with God’s wrath being poured out upon the wicked. Sure, you may ask if people will repent and come back to Jesus in these trying times? Yes. And will people be converted to Christianity and following Jesus in these tumultuous times? Yes. Their faith will save them, but since they missed the rapture, they will have to live and die with the wicked also. At first, we will see fire and hail falling down to the earth, causing a third part of all the trees to be burnt up. We are talking about trees in forests mainly, where mountains are seen from above like they are on fire. But this also affects the sea life, for a third part of the ocean sea creatures die. This will kill people in the third of the ships. Wow! This type of destruction would be devastating. So believe in and follow Jesus and you will not have to go through the remainder of the great tribulation. Amen.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that we will stay strong in the faith and not grow weary of doing good for Your kingdom. That our hearts will stay vigilant when it comes to seeking You daily and doing Your will. I know how some people start up different ministries and then get tired of it in the end. This often changes how they believe in You and also in their strivings to live for You also. So many times I tell people about all the wonderful things You are doing in my life, Lord, of which I give You the glory. And many of them will say that this is well and good, but don’t expect this fire to last. They say, just wait till I have been in the faith for thirty years, and then I will notice that things are much different. To these people, I ask what happened to you? Did you forget Your first love? Does doing God’s will get tying for some reason? I ask all this because if we don’t like doing Your will on earth, how will we enjoy it in heaven? If we don’t enjoy praying and worshipping You on earth, why would we do the opposite in heaven? I have to ask these questions, Lord, for many people want to go to heaven but aren’t even willing to be Your servant on earth. This is very sad and I pray that things change in people’s lives. Awaken them to their sins, that they may repent and become clean through Your blood. Truly, there is forgiveness and mercy, but only because You are a good God who loves us so much. I love You the same, Lord. Be with me all the days of my life. Amen.
