The Third And Fourth Angels Blow Their Trumpets

When the seven angels sound their trumpets in the clouds, you need to know that destruction is coming upon the earth. The inhabitants of the earth have been judged for their sins and God’s wrath is being poured out upon them like the days of Noah and the flood. We recently covered what took place with the first and second angels in the following message and now we will focus on the third and fourth angels here. Speaking of the sound of the trumpet from the third angel, this is what happened. “And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.” (Revelation 8:10,11) Wormwood is a massive asteroid, like the size of the moon, that is heading to earth. Once this eventually hits, life as we know it on earth will be changed. A third of the water, as we know and love will become bitter to the taste and undrinkable. Not to mention all the fish that will die.  Many people will also die because of the poison found in the water, which they are drinking from. Scientists and doctors will be scrambling to find a way to purify it, but they will have no time since the next angels will bring even more devastation to the earth. Thankfully, God’s people will be raptured up before this time. Those who are with Jesus and are saved have nothing to fear.

The next angel sounded his trumpet and people on earth could see the devastation happen in the sky above. Imagine looking up into the skies and seeing the sun, the moon, and the stars, all breaking up in the atmosphere? That would be a crazy sight to see for sure. This is because the aftermath would be darkness upon the earth. So much so that the third part of our days would be dark. At this point, people would be recovering because of the water being bitter and the devastation caused by the enormous star/asteroid “wormwood” that just fell upon the earth. Now, people would for sure be fearful, wondering how things could get even worse. To put this into perspective the next verses read, “and the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!” (Revelation 8:12,13) Woe means great sorrow. So the three woes mean much sorrow and despair that we have never seen before on the earth. All I can say for people on the earth at this time, it will be trying, but if you missed the rapture, or I call a boat, like in Noah’s time, then there is still time for you to be saved. Many people will come to Christ in this time, though it will be hard. Praise God for this.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that more and more people will fall down upon their knees in repentance unto You. Tomorrow is not guaranteed and I fear that more people are heading to hell because of their sins and unbelief than we think. It is my prayer that people will begin to take this life seriously and stop messing around with their lives. I wish that more people would die and go into a paradise state, but this is up to the individual to make on their own. All I can do, and others can do also, is to encourage people to seek You daily, but we are not there to watch them 24/7. It needs to be impactful in people’s lives to know You, Jesus, but they need to make this choice to go all-in for You and Your kingdom. I pray that people will not delay this. Salvation is at the door. All people need to do is open up to You. I love it when You speak through me, Lord. Today was one of those days that people noticed the Jesus shirt I had on, which started some amazing conversations about You, Jesus. Thank You for those many people I spoke with today, and if any of them are on the fence of being saved, help them go all in. I pray that after meeting me that it sparked their faith in You. I remember, Lord, how happy they were after talking with me, as was I. It is joyful to bring you up in conversation. I count these times as the most important and impactful parts of my day. I want to reach more people for Your kingdom, God. If that means me getting on the streets more and proclaiming the good news through a loud speaker, I will do it. Use me, Lord. I am Yours and You are mine. I trust in You. I love You. Amen.
