The Great White Throne Judgment

There will be a time when we will all die. The only exception being those people who are raptured up to be with Christ before His second coming. And here is the truth of the matter. When we die, we either go up to heaven or down to hell. In hell, we are tormented in flames of fire and are continually thirsty. In heaven, there is a paradise that awaits us, where there is no more pain. Paradise is also called the sea, for a pure river of water of life is here, which proceeds from the throne of God. We are either in a state of joy and peace, or torment and pain while we await our turn to be judged. This is during the great white throne judgment. When we are called and led to God’s throne to be judged, it will be Jesus who judged us. This gets us to the verses where this is spoken of in detail. “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” (Revelation 20:11,12)

When people are being judged, round about them will they will see people great and small. There will be myriads of people in many different lines from the left and right of them that can’t be numbered. Now, praise be to God for people who were part of the sea or paradise, for their names are written in the book of life. They can now enter the gates of heaven and are with Jesus. This is when “God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” (Revelation 21:4) This will be an amazing time for people who are saved. However, for people who spent their time in hell, they will hear the words, “I never knew you”, “depart from me”, where they will be cast into the lake of fire. It is written, “and the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:13-15) This day is coming, no matter if we are ready or not. Therefore, trust in Jesus and endure in that faith to be saved. Amen.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that You will take hold of our lives and lead us to heaven. Where You can lead us safely by the hand and not allow the enemy to rule our lives. You are our sword and shield and I worship You, God. There is so much wickedness in the world today and so many people are giving into it. Therefore, it is my desire to go forth and scatter all the darkness that is before me, but I know that people also need to have the Holy Spirit in their lives to make a difference. Otherwise, people are only seeing the light in me and then seeing it dissipate when I leave them. Therefore, I pray that people will desire for themselves what only You can give them. That they will no longer be trapped in their addictions and bad habits, but be rescued and forgiven. I know how much You desire to have mercy upon us, but we must allow You into our lives first. All I know is that You are so good to me, God. If people could see what this goodness entails, then they would also run and fall down at Your feet. Only then can more people escape hell and go to paradise when they die. Heaven is where we want to be, for You are there. Lead us safely to Your heavenly home. I love You. I trust in You. Amen.
