Today’s Prayer (12/13/2021)

Oh Lord, I give You praise and glory during this Christmas season and forevermore. I am honored and blessed to have You in my life, Jesus. I can’t even imagine how the three wise men must have felt the moment they saw You in the home of Mary and Joseph. In awe, must have they fell down on their knees for some time in worship to You, my King. Even now does my heart sing out in praise to the Son of God, who is Christ the Lord. I love what You have done for us, Jesus, more than anything else I have ever known in this lifetime. Because You came down to save us from our sins, I have forgiveness and mercy, though I don’t deserve it. Through the cross, my sins are washed clean through Your blood. I am continually left without words because of what You have done. The scriptures are correct in that Your mission was to save Your people from their sins. Thankfully, You have adopted us as Your believers in these latter days. I may not be a Jew, but I worship You all the same. I love You, Jesus. Have Your way in my life. Lead me, Lord. Amen.

Matthew 2:9-12

Matthew 2:9-12 (KJV)
9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.
12 And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

The Three Wise Men

Jesus’s birth is the greatest event to ever take place on earth. For this reason, the three wise men came to worship the Christ child.
